Great Advice
Barry actually gave me the information I needed to decide not to sue a former employer and I think that counts as a win-win. The ex-employer did some underhanded conduct in laying a bunch of us off, we consulted several attorneys and Barry was the most responsive. We were actually driving home to CT to be by my Mother's bedside as she passed--it never rains it pours, when Barry got back to us. He gave me an indepth consultation about the case, for free and in the end, I decided not to sue the former employer for age discrimination. The bottom line was that Barry was key in providing clear information that allowed me to form an objective analysis, of any potential litigation. I would highly recommend him to anyone in a similar situation. In the end, I took the severance pay and decided to put that part of my career behind me. Thanks, Barry!

Great Advice

Assertive and Educated Employment Lawyer
Barry Hersh Law Firm provided outstanding counsel in one of the most trying times of my professional career. I initially contracted Barry for a consultation on a non-compete restrictive covenant to determine if I would be able to make an anticipated career move. Barry provided sound advice on how to best handle the transition from my former employer as well as proper protocol to make sure I didn’t violate the covenant or expose my new company. He thoroughly explained what would occur if they sued me and how to best prepare myself and my family. When legal action was taken against me by the former employer Barry was able to quickly put a strong defense together against their temporary restraining order in less than 12 hours. Ultimately Barry was able to negotiate a fair settlement that allowed me to go back to work and miss the minimum amount of time. I would highly recommend Hersh Law.

Professional, friendly and helpful
I recently worked with Barry and he was extremely helpful. He understood that I needed an attorney's discerning eye to review a contract that was time sensitive and got right back to me. An incredible experience

I can not express how great he is.
I wanted to express my thanks for resolving my long standing issue against my former employer. Your knowledge of the details and nuanaces of employment law is astounding. A trusted advisor...
I have the benefit of having Barry on my side. Barry assisted me in negotiating a new experience for me -- being let go from a company with no notice due to a pregnancy. Barry was able to keep me well apprised of the situation, insight into the process, and providing me balance from his experience both from my perspective and my former employer. Terrific beyond all expectations
Barry recently helped me settle a case involving many layers and legal issues. Throughout the process he not only tended to the legal matters but payed attention to how the case was affecting me personally. I knew from the start this meant as much to Barry as it did to me but never felt that it was a concern about the money he stood to make. Barry was the calm in the storm and remained steadfast in his approach and demands of my former employer. I can't even begin to describe the diligence Barry showed throughout the process; whether it be collecting facts, researching recent cases and rulings that may help us, to communicating every step of the way late at night, weekends, and holidays. It seemed as though he never took a day off from my case and my case was the ony case he was handling at all times..
