Peace of Mind

Mr. Allmand and his staff were very professional and their approach was very compassionate as they understand people filing for bankruptcy have probably been stressed in many areas of life for months. Their process is very swift but caring. Within a month I had three meetings and they filed my case a...nd the foreclosure on my home was stopped. However, it doesn't take 4 weeks or even 1. The sooner you call the better. They hold your hand the entire way and give you step by step instructions through the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone. It took me a while for my mind to catch up to my situation and realize that I could keep my home and enjoy life again. Allmand Law had come to the rescue and all the pressure was taken off my shoulders. It has been a month and a half since I filed and I'm making my house payments again and I feel like I can live again. Creditors do not call me and all letters and collections have stopped. It's just a load off and I'm thankful to my friend who told me about them!

Making a hard decision easier

I never imagined that I might end up thinking about bankruptcy but several things happened at once that I had no control over and there I was, making a hard decision. I talked to Weldon Allmand about my situation and he outlined what my options were in detail. He understood how hard it was to make th...at decision and assured me that bankruptcy was not a sign of weakness or bad behavior on my part. It was a way to rebuild what was broken in my financial life. Based on my situation, I filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy which allowed me to pay back my loans without being hassled or threatened by collection agencies. Since this is a legal process, I had to do my part to provide documents and information. I had to take classes to help me manage better. I had to take a look at what had gone wrong in my life and how I could change the situation for a better future. Working with Allmand Law Firm restored my self-confidence and has helped me see a better future for myself. Everyone of the staff at Allmand Law Firm is knowledgeable and provided help and advice every step of the way. When I had questions during the process, they were answered quickly and efficiently. I felt confident throughout the process that I was in good hands and that Allmand Law Firm was partnering with me to improve my life. I know bankruptcy is a hard decision to make, but I would certainly recommend the attorneys and staff and Allmand Law Firm to anyone who is considering bankruptcy to meet with Weldon Allmand and see what the options are for their individual case.

Chpt 13 converted to Chpt 7

They filed me immediately in a chpt 13 due to this being in my best interest. Later, due to unforseen circumstances, Allmand & Lee converted me to a chpt. 7. The conversion was a smooth transition process. I made my scheduled appointments and the response time was immediate. They also worked out ...a payment plan that was fair and affordable. One incident was handled immediately by one of their paralegals and I had no more problems from a creditor who was harrassing and threatening me with a lockout. Thank you Allmand & Lee!

Scam

I received a 6 page snail mail letter. First red flag was that it said Advertisement. What professional law firm does this? I continued to read and it further stated, "Your situation came to my attention due to the Dallas or Tarrant County Clerk's Office Lien or Judgement Record showing that a credit...or may have filed a lawsuit against you". I'm smart enough to know "may" which is may not. And if it was real they couldn't figure out which county the lawsuit is in? There is no creditor, there is no lawsuit. Just for s and g I called this supposed law firm. A male who could barely speak English (hint, sounded like so many scammers) started with his bs that I hung up on him. This is the ambulance chasing lawyer that gets to an accident before it happens. Consumer beware!
