Kenneth (Pete) Trosclair was born and raised in Larose, Louisiana, a small town 60 miles southwest of New Orleans near the Gulf Coast. Upon graduating from South Lafourche High School, Pete enlisted in the United States Navy, later receiving an honorable discharge. Pete went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego and his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.

Pete began his legal career with the law firm of Bickel & Brewer, representing large corporations in commercial litigation. Pete’s litigation experience began as an associate trial attorney, and worked his way to becoming the lead associate for their commercial cases, and also headed the firm’s pro bono division.

Pete then moved firms, shifting his practice to representing individuals that sustained catastrophic personal injuries, focusing on trucking accident litigation, motor torts, medical malpractice, mass torts/pharmaceutical litigation (such as Vioxx and Celebrex litigation), class actions and civil rights litigation in both Federal and State Courts.

I was assaulted by a patient in the workplace. From the beginning Trosclair and Lovins Law Firm was very personable yet very professional at the same time. The first times I met with Pete and Michael, it was as if I'd known them for a long time. At a time when my world was turned upside down, they always made me feel that I was going to be ok. Amazing!
My husband was in a serious car accident and the medical bills were extreme. Lovins Trosclair firm took care of everything! Calling them was the best thing we could have done. On April 18th 2014, my life changed in a way that no one is ever ready for! I was the victim of a horrific car accident that took the life of my husband and left me injured for life. Several days later, my sister asked me if I needed the name of an excellent attorney. Of course, I had not found one as I was still reeling and dazed. I had no idea what to do next. Long story short--I hired Pete Trosclair. Not only did he get the ball rolling, but he WON the case!!! Outstanding negotiator!!!
My sisters and I hired Pete Trosclair after our 90-year-old Dad's vehicle was t-boned by a dump truck. Dad survived, but suffered extensive injuries. The driver of the dump truck claimed that Dad ran a red light, but Dad insisted his light was green. There were no known witnesses. Even though the odds seemed to be against us because of Dad's age and the lack of evidence, Pete settled at mediation for more than $100,000.

A True Godsend
Lovins Trosclair was a true godsend for my wife and I. We were in a car accident on central expressway back in December of 2012. My wife took the brunt of the injuries with a broken foot and broken hand, but I had a neck injury as well. Pete Trosclair handled our case personally. He was a true professional. Going through an accident like ours causes great stress, and he gave my wife and I some much needed piece of mind. He was our expert guide through the entire turmoil. He dealt with the insurance companies, doctors, surgeons, and chiropractor. I can’t reiterate how fortunate we were to have Lovins Trosclair represent us. They were vital for us and really erased the unknowing. Pete Trosclair kept us in the loop every step of the way. I would definitely recommend using Lovins Trosclair for anyone who was in an accident like ours. One can often feel powerless when going through a situation like ours, but don’t feel that way. Expectations Exceeded - Excellent Attorney
I hired Mr. Trosclair after being hit by a driver on the Dallas North Tollway. He really put me at ease during a very stressful time.
