I endorse this lawyer. For many years I represented clients at Administrative License Revocation hearings. I quickly learned that when Mr. Boyd walks in the room, pay attention, you will definitely learn something. Definitely a go-to attorney for ALRs.
Phillip Goff, Administrative law Attorney on Apr 2, 2018

I endorse this lawyer. I first met Larry almost 20 years ago when he spoke at a DWI defense seminar I organized. He was and still is the Administrative License Revocation (ALR) guru in Texas, setting the standard for one of the most difficult kind of cases to win. He is literally the guy who wrote the book on ALR and regularly teaches other lawyers eager to hear what he knows.

I endorse this lawyer. Larry Boyd is nothing less than a treasure to the Texas legal community and to the driving public. His monumental Administrative License Revocation Manual is the comprehensive guide for ALR hearings and, more than that, a definitive resource for traffic stop law in Texas. Over the years, Larry has handled many ALR hearings for me and my clients. He has always done an excellent job and often led the way to a successful disposition of the case in chief by creating strategy and adducing helpful testimony at the hearing. I am proud to endorse Larry Boyd as an excellent attorney. Kyle Morrow, Traffic Ticket and Criminal Defense Attorney

I endorse this lawyer. In fact, Lawrence G. Boyd wrote the book for DWI lawyers across the Texas on Driver License Suspension. I keep his Administrative License Revocation Manual near my desk for reference. I have practiced DWI and Criminal Defense law for 35 years in Beaumont, but If I had a close friend or relative in the Dallas area who was charged with Drunk Driving and needed a highly skilled advocate, I would recommend that they contact Lawrence G. Boyd without delay.
Christopher Albert, DUI and DWI Attorney on Jan 7, 2016

If you need an attorney to handle a DUI or DWI you should call Larry Boyd, period. I endorse this lawyer.

Larry is the expert on DWI License Suspension. He is also a state bar director and an advoate for courthouse lawyers. One really can't do better in DFW.

Mr. Boyd is without peer on the complex driver license suspension laws in Texas. He is the author of the book used by all attorneys in Texas on this subject. His wisdom and advice has helped me keep many a client from having their driving privileges suspended. In addition, he is a great advocate for his clients. I have known him personally and professionally and can endorse him most highly.
John Cook, Administrative law Attorney on Jul 24, 2014

I endorse this lawyer. I have known Mr. Boyd for the entire 22 years I have practiced law. He is considered the top expert in the State of Texas on Administrative License Revocation (ALR) hearings and an expert on DWI case law and procedure. In fact, Mr. Boyd has written the top book on ALR which I frequently refer to in my daily practice.
John Smith, DUI and DWI Attorney on Dec 23, 2013

Dana Palmer, Administrative law Attorney on Nov 11, 2013
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer. Larry is one of the GO-TO lawyers for ALR suspensions. He has worked closely with numerous top DWI/DUI attorneys in the state and he is the authority on driver's license suspensions and DWI trials. He regularly teaches and has literally (yes, I mean literally, not figuratively) has written the book on ALR suspensions. I have absolutely no hesitation to refer and recommend my clients to Larry Boyd if they are facing a driver's license suspension, especially those related to DWI charges.

To say Larry Boyd is THE ALR guru is an understatement. Larry knows more than anyone should about administrative license issues related to DWIs. The work he does on ALRs routinely prevents license suspension and, more importantly, lays the foundation for winning the underlying DWI. Larry is well-respected by both his peers and colleagues for good reason!
Gene Beaty, DUI and DWI Attorney on Oct 15, 2012
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer, because he is a really decent fellow who really knows DWI law. He is entertaining and provides valuable information as a teacher and coach to other lawyers like myself. So, even though I know a lot after handling hundreds of DWI cases myself, Larry is always eager to counsel and has very useful tips.
Kimberly Tucker, DUI and DWI Attorney on Dec 29, 2011
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer without hesitation. He knows the law of ALR, as it relates to DWI defense, like the back of his hand. And, more importantly, he uses it in the courtroom to the benefit of anyone that chooses to hire him. In this field, there are 2 kinds of lawyers - plea lawyers and warriors for justice. Larry is a true warrior!
Robert Guest, DUI and DWI Attorney on Mar 20, 2011

I'm not given to hyperbole, but I have no choice but to recognize that Larry Boyd is the best ALR defense lawyer in Texas. Mr. Boyd literally wrote the book on Texas ALR defense. He is a living encyclopedia of ALR/DWI knowledge. If you have a DWI in Dallas and you care about keeping your driver's license, hire Larry Boyd. If he can't win the ALR hearing, no one can. The highest compliment I can pay Larry is that I gladly pay to hear him speak every year at his DWI seminar in Dallas. His is a can't miss presentation for any serious DWI attorney.
Christian Lassen, Criminal defense Attorney on Dec 27, 2010
