Vehicular Manslaughter

Case Conclusion Date: 04.10.2013

Practice Area: Criminal defense

Outcome: Not Guilty of all charges

Description: My client "T-Boned" a 70 year old man pulling out from a stop sign on Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas. The man was unconscious at the scene and dead on arrival at Parkland hospital. My client had the right-of-way, but 4 witnesses testified that the accident was my client's fault, as he was "driving recklessly, cutting in and out of traffic lanes, and going 70 to 75 mph in a 40 mph zone. I discredited all four of the civilian witnesses and the detective who worked the case. I turned the prosecution's accident reconstruction expert against the State during the trial, and got him to testify that it was physically impossible for my client to have been driving in the manner suggested by the other witnesses. After 6 hours of deliberations, the jury found him not guilty of all charges. It was a fulfilling, emotional gut-wrenching win for the Defense!
