I will rarely take time to write a review however in this case I feel it is a must. When people are faced with legal circumstances which can literally change their life for the worst, good legal counsel is a necessity. A friend gave us Bucks Johnson’s name and number on a Sunday night, and he answere...d his phone that night and agreed to meet with us the next day to handle my daughters case! His professionalism and expertise gave us needed reassurance in an extremely difficult legal situation regarding false accusations which had led to an arrest. Throughout the legal process, his communication was superb. The end result what is the best resolution that we could’ve ever hoped for, and it was only because of Mr. Johnson‘s determination, expertise, and care! His counsel is worth every penny and more, and I don't believe we would have had the same end result if we had used a different attorney. Thank you Buck Johnson!

I cannot recommend Buck enough! He is extremely competent as well as pragmatic. He knows what is worth fighting for and what is not, without wasting his clients' money. He is familiar with the prosecutors and judges and their temperaments and records and who might be amenable to what compromises. He... is also incredibly responsive, inclusion via text and email. He got my charges reduced to something minor with a short probation and the ability to have the charge expunged. I am so happy that I chose Buck.

I was arrested for a DUI three years ago in Dallas County. I'm a lawyer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and so I was obviously concerned about the consequences. Buck was an excellent attorney in the handling of my case. I was originally charged with a DWI. Once I retained his services and he was able to gain access to the information and discovery, he acted quickly using his experience to get the charges reduced to obstruction of a passageway. A much much... less serious charge. He was able to work a plea deal to where I would plead guilty to these minimal charges and only be responsible for fines, community service, counseling etc. I was more than willing to accept those reduced consequences in order to avoid the DWI conviction and all that comes with it. After months and months, which eventually turned into over 2 years of the DA never officially filing the paperwork for the obstruction, the court date came to plead guilty and accept the obstruction charge with fines, community service, counseling, etc. I arrived at the courthouse and was greeted by Buck where I waited just a short time outside of the courtroom while he went in to discuss the guilty plea with the DA. He then came out and informed me that because of the time that had went by since the original charges were filed, the DA was willing to waive all of the fines, community service, counseling, etc. giving me time served. It was by far the best result I could have possibly asked for! All I was asked to do was plea guilty in front of the judge, pay $77 in court fees, and sign some paperwork! I could not have been more pleased with this eventual outcome. The case was completely resolved at that point and I was able to leave the courthouse that day and move on with my life and no longer have to think about the case. Buck's office assistant was also great in notifying me as the months and years went by that the DA still had not filed and the appropriate paperwork. Buck himself was extremely easy to work with, explaining everything as the case went along so I understood what was happening. I would recommend Buck 10 out of 10 times to anyone charges with DWI or DUI.
