Do your due diligence.

She did not fight for me at all, almost like she was afraid of making my ex’s attorney mad at her. The mediator we used was a friend of hers and I felt she was swayed by my attorneys feelings. I wanted the divorce over with so badly I just gave up and then the divorce papers were finally drawn up 3 w...eeks after mediation just in time to present to the judge. It was a very stressful and horrible situation on more than one way. Had trouble getting phone calls and emails returned timely.

Caught In Court

Ms. Fisher was caught in court to have lied to me, her client. My appeal had been reset on three different occasions. Ms. Fisher told me each time that the other party requested a reset each time. When we finally had the trial, the other party tried to say that I was trying to purposely lose my jo...b and that's why I kept asking for a trial reset. While I was on the witness stand, I asked her to repeat what she just said and then explained that I was told they had asked for a reset each time. Turned out not to be true, and my attorney sat there silently with her head down. Now I'm paying a child support based on the original order of when I had a high-paying job that is astronomical and can't afford to pay in in full. She lied to me, was not prepared to represent me at court, took over 3-4 weeks to respond to an email, and cost and my family a huge financial lost. I didn't know until much later that she had already been disciplined previously by the state board.
