I am an apartment locator in Dallas, Texas, Connor recently sought my service for his relocation. Disregarding Connor's liability as a prospective renter due to previous rental history, I accepted Connor as a client and went over and beyond for him with service. From providing him a list of apartment...s, scheduling all his tour appointments, chauffeuring him around to 5+ apartment communities and ultimately catering to his questions, concerns and approval process moving up to the day of his anticipated relocation, Connor received a white glove service and was extended encouragement and support through the entirety of our relationshop. After getting him approved at very short notice, Connor all of a sudden stops responding to calls and texts. After several follow ups, I get a text from Connor stating "I apologize, but I had to go with another option. All the best" - Now, despite this being a personal matter, I do believe that being ethical and ensuring fair compensation in exchange for service is something that is expected of Connor in his role as an attorney. I highly doubt he'd be offering service to any one if he were not receiving what he was rightfully owed and ultimately working for free. Connor was well aware of how his decision affected my means of living despite the time I invested on his behalf. Instead of rectifying the situation as a business professional and offering any solution that would have led to a positive outcome for the both of us, he took advantage of my service and caused me hours of lost wages and thousands of dollars in compensation with the choices he made. I can only assume he is out for himself and doesn't mind taking advantage of others to get ahead himself. I feel cheated and am disappointed in Connor's behavior and the outcome of our relationship, especially when he showed such appreciation early on in us connecting. I've never felt so left out to dry. I will never forget this experience & hope he takes the well being and means of living for his clients or further anyone he seeks service from more seriously in the future.
