This lawyer tends to be paralegal intensive and almost impossible to contact personally. Since March of 2013 till July 19, 2013 repeated attempts to convey concerns about treatment of injuries and collection activities of treating vendors have gone ignored. On July 15, 2013 I received information fro...m paralegal Lynn Martin regarding a settlement loan with the Accident Lending Group (ALG). I made online application on July 16, 2013. On July 18, 2013, Karen an agent with this organization (ALG) called me to ask if there was someone other than Lynn Martin she could confer with. I was informed that Lynn Martin refused to cooperate with application certification. While at the library, working on a final and two (2) papers due on July 22, 2013, I informed Karen of (ALG) that I would personally stop by the law office on July 19, 2013 in an effort to get the needed information. Upon arrival I asked to speak to an attorney and was told all attorneys were out of town. Shortly there after, I was engaged by Lynn Martin who indicated Karen with (AFG) was going to take up an hour of her time. I asked how do you know since you refused to cooperate. Furthermore, I stated that "I do not work for you, you work for me. Lynn Martin then proceeded to escort me to her office and called (AFG) and the question session lasted less than five (5) minutes. In addition, I had correspondence from a collection agency dated July 15, 2013 that I had provided to Lynn Martin on May 2, 2013 the day my treatment with Parkland Hospital ended. This was the third time I had been threatened with collection activity. Furthermore on July 15, 2013 I was told by Lynn Martin my settlement was two (2) months out because she needed to negotiate with the hospitals for a lower bill. After leaving Lynn Martin's office after the (AFG) call, she told me that Mr. Gregg was not contracted to endorse client loans. I indicated to her if you don't want to represent me, what's the use? At about 2 p.m. on July 19, 2013, I called and told the receptionist that I wanted a copy of my file and that I would make my presence between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival I was told by the receptionist that I needed to sign a document before I could get the copy of my file. I took the document and left the file. The receptionist got up running to Lynn Martin's office bellowing" he took the letter." My file was forwarded to State Farm for settlement. This Law firm is still maintaining an interest in order to keep me from pursuing other counsel. I informed Lynn Martin that I was disabled and was being represented by Bender and Bender on a disability claim on numerous occasions. I am a 57 year old African-American pursuing a Master of Business Administration accepted by Walden University to pursue a Doctorate of Business Administration September 2014. I am going to pursue all remedies resulting from this gross neglect of my rights and privileges. Guess what? Robert Gregg finally called on July 22, 2013.The first attempt by an attorney to contact me since March 2013. All previous request to speak to this attorney always filtered to Lynn Martin. So in six (6) months I was not given the opportunity to talk to a lawyer one time!!!
