Agg assault with a deadly weapon.
A felony case begins with an indictment. That is, when the grand jury indicts your case then the case is filed against you and you start going to court etc. Now, I have no idea what it means to replace a felony, or what you were told but.... If you are facing a felony case you need to have an attorney advising you. You can't solve this case on Avvo, get a lawyer to assist ASAP.See question

If you were convicted, then you can't the case expunged or sealed. If you got deferred probation, you could apply for a non-disclosure. If you got pre trial diversion or were found not guilty at trial, you could have the case expunged.See question
I got charged with giving a kid xanax in school, possession of xanax, and under the influence. This is my charges "MAN DEL CS PG 3/4 <28G" , statue 481.114(b), and its a state jail felony.
Did you get a DWI as well? I'm not sure what "under the influence" means. State Jail Felony cases is Kaufman County should cost you between $1,000 and $5,000 for legal fees depending on which lawyer/firm you go with. It's not that easy to just quote a price, the total fee will depend on your criminal history, and how many charges you have, inter alia. Being in a school zone makes your case more difficult, and delivery always makes the prosecutors angry. I understand that you need to get a lawyer you can afford, but don't make cost your only concern. Start by calling some local attorneys, Avvo is a great resource for that. I'd recommend someone local who practices often in Kaufman County. There are some great Dallas lawyers who come to Kaufman, but generally they charge more because of how much they have to commute, and our local system is kind of weird and getting good results in Kaufman County usually comes from understanding the local criminal justice system. Lawyers I like locally are Gil Altom, Tim Hartley, Brian Corrigan, and Brandi Fernandez, to name a few. Of course I think my firm is pretty awesome at helping defendants like you, but you should shop around and we are usually not the cheapest option.See question
We have a case in Kaufman co tx, it was a divorce & a decree was entered. Then one of the attorneys re-opened it to do a modification, & then there was a lot more activity. However, the parties reconciled & from 11/04/13 until 1/30/16 there has be...
Well, first it depends on when the motion was filed, and when discovery was due. Was it filed during the original decree? Or the modification? Is there a scheduling order in the case? Trial setting? The discovery period might be over, or not.
I'd talk to your lawyer about if filing a motion to compel is a good investment at this point.See question

That someone needs to hire a lawyer immediately. We have helped many suspects in someone's situation. You should not have someone take this polygraph until they retain counsel. Many polygraphs are actually a setup so the police can try to coerce a confession.See question

CPS reports are confidential so it's nearly impossible to find out who made them. What can you do? If you are being investigating by CPS, even if it's a false complaint, hire a local lawyer to deal with them.See question

I would consult with a family lawyer immediately. You can call the police, but computer crimes are difficult to solve and/or investigate for many smaller department. I'm not sure Forney PD is well equipped to combat computer crimes. This might be different, but still, with a lawyer helping you I'd expect you will some areas to litigate.See question

Move to Colorado. Texas is a terrible state to live in if you smoke pot. Our State's pot laws are idiotic, and Kaufman County will love to put on probation or diversion and take your time, money, and freedom. Really, if it's something you enjoy, don't live here if you can help it. I have told many clients that it's too dangerous to keep hiring me to defend them, and to leave for greener pastures.See question
I want to know if I can Sue the manufacturer of the Drug CELEBREX? I have Chronic Stage 3 Kidney Disease from taking this medication as Prescribed by a Workers Comp. DR.?
You should meet with a local attorney immediately to discuss your options. They will want to review your medical records to determine if you can sue. If you have any medical records bring those to your consult.See question
Will it look good in court for me
It could help in a court hearing, but you will need a lawyer to establish custody, visitation, and child support. If you can't afford a lawyer contact the Attorney General after the child is born. They are free, but slow and very busy. If you want to terminate his rights, it will take a lot more than a text message and you will need an attorney.See question
