Eric was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Beaumont.  He attended college at Texas A&M University at College Station and law school at the University of Texas at Austin.


After law school, Eric served for several years as an Assistant District Attorney in Collin County, Texas, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony level cases.  After leaving the DA's office, Eric began practicing family law which has now been his primary area of practice for many years.
