Do not judge a book by its cover. When my family hired Mr. Ceder and he came to see me in jail I was disappointed. I later told my husband "Are you serious? That kid must of just got out of law school!" ...I was in jail for Aggervated assult with a deadly weapon. Which is a second degree felony. Its ...a big deal when you are already on parole with a 20 year sentence for an Aggervated case. With the help of that "kid" my case didn't even make it to court. It was NO BILLED by the grand jury. I advised other girls in jail to do that and they left before I did. He did show up to my Revocation Hearing and did an excellent job. I'm so thankful my family hired him. He told me from day one, "Melinka you are going home, and you will be with your children again." And he was right. I always thought he was too quiet and calm to be an attorney. Honestly, if you are in jail, that's what you need. Somebody that is calm, collect and always thinking/analyzing ways to get your freedom back. I was in it pretty deep when I met Carl. I had no where to turn and no help in sight. I was facing false allegations and could not fight them on my own.
