I was arrested for DWI in July 2014, after failing to stop at a police roadblock "checkpoint" in a neighborhood with a school environment. The second officer that I stopped for claimed to be on a manhunt for a guy in his 40's in Black/Jeans potentially armed with a gun who left the scene earlier the same night, & claimed that he could smell the odor of alcohol in my breath. Not only that, but their search was oddly/coincidentally called off as soon as they found me.
Despite only having two beers & passing the sobriety test, never been pulled over, or have had any trouble with the law, it was obvious that I was not drunk, but completely nervous, & did very well on the sobriety test. The arresting officer that gave me the test was very crude & unprofessional with me. After claiming that I was drunk & failed every part of the test, he humiliated me in front of the camera, put me under arrest, towed my car, giving a blood test at the station, & had to spend almost two & a half days at the Collin County Jail.
Feeling hopeless/scared/stressed of what to do next after being released, the car that was towed died on me two weeks later, & put me in a huge financial crisis/struggle in my life.
Having a past family member with a "DWI" experience, who ended up hiring a lawyer that turned out to be a complete fraud, Sharon Curtis was recommended to me & after the first meeting, I knew that I was in good hands.
Months later we then receiving all the police reports/documents from the DA in regards to my arrest/case. We found so many inconsistencies that were false/untrue that did not match up at all with how things were that night, or how I was on the video.
After receiving the blood results & my level was a tiny bit higher than the legal limit, & the harsh/cruel offers the court gave in regards to pleading guilty between probation/jail time, Sharon recommended to my family & I to take my case to trial by jury.
My blood alcohol level was .095, got it retaken & was lower than the legal limit. It shows how mishandled the blood was kept, as it truly did not match up with how sober I truly was the night I got arrested.
After many delays that took over a year to finally set a date, it was then scheduled for February 2016. The trial took 2 & a half days. Sharon truly knows what she's doing in the courthouse, & exposed the arresting officer of the lying fool he really is, as he consistently lied under oath, & proved to the jury of how the inconclusive/unreliable the blood results can be.
Throughout the trial, so many other lawyers who had other cases going on that were watching mine, were making great positive comments about Sharon's performance while she was representing me.
At the end of the second day, the jury could not reach a verdict, & it ended up going on a third day, After a long wait for the jurors to reach a verdict, the jury proven me NOT GUILTY!
In the end, it was all worth the wait/investment, & Sharon delivered her job/duty to the fullest.
Sharon was a true guardian angel of mine through this huge setback in my life, & a great friend. She will treat you like a family member of her own, not as a criminal/customer, & no matter how bad your case/situation is, she will not judge you or put you down, but give you hope & faith to get through it all. We are all only human, & make mistakes.
God bless this wonderful woman, & I highly recommend her as an attorney. You will not regret it, & in the end you will have more faith in the judicial system like I have.

I was charged with a DUI (1st) in March 2015. I thought my life was going to fall apart and scared what was going to happen. This was my first encounter with the law of any kind. I interviewed three attorneys within days of my arrest. There wasn't any doubt that Mrs. Curtis was my first choice! During our initial meeting, she was detailed in explaining what to expect during the court process and her process. She was straight forward and didn't try to 'sell' me on an unrealistic outcome - she is all about facts. I know she worked very hard with the court in providing me with my best options, and it was evident she has built a strong relationship with Collin County Court Officials. When the time came to decide which option to take, she offered me the pros and cons of each option and provided me with true case history. This was the most valuable information in helping me to decide which option to take and to ensure it was the right one for me and my family.
I feel fortunate to have Mrs. Curtis represent me and confident that I received the best outcome. Thank you Mrs. Curtis!

Sharon Curtis was the first attorney I decided to meet based on the excellent reviews from her clients out of tens of other practicing attorneys in Collin county. Right from our first meeting I found her very honest, direct and straight forward about my case and the possible outcome rather than sugar coating words of false hope and comfort unlike most other attorneys. She gave me a detailed checklist of things to get done (sooner rather than later) to improve and increase my chances for a better outcome. She made me believe in her words and I started doing those things one by one as fast as I could manage. I kept her informed regularly of my progress and despite her busy work schedule she always responded promptly with kindness and complimenting words. I finished most of the things on the list in three months starting with Community Service and she was very happy with the progress. During those months she worked extremely hard, met with the DA several times, fought for my case with tooth and nail and finally got the charge dropped from a bumped up felony to Misdemeanor B with some fine and probation with a possibility of early release.
Ms. Curtis has been my guardian angel and Godsend from above. My family and I are eternally grateful for her guidance, wisdom, honesty, professionalism and compassion. What she has done for me is through her "above and beyond" hard work and skillful negotiations with the district attorney. She is worth the money you spend on her fees in every sense of the word. What else can I say about Sharon Curtis? She is an amazing miracle worker. All you have to do is listen to her, follow her advice and she will get you the result beyond your expectations. Wish I could say more to fill up pages in her praise but I think I should save that space for her other grateful clients.
All in all, she is THE BEST, most dependable and trustworthy attorney that will fight for you. She truly cares about your well-being, not as a case but as a person. She says what she means, and means what she says. She has changed my life in more ways than one. Through this unfortunate ordeal, I also got a chance to get help for my deep depression with counseling and medication that under normal circumstance I wouldn't have gone for. Her assistant Jose is also very nice, helpful and always ready to answer any questions. Thank you, Ms. Curtis and Jose, for everything! God bless you! I highly recommend her.

Sharon, took on my case as a public defender and she worked very hard for me and we ended up with the best possible outcome. She worked hard for over 1 year on my case, she was fast, efficient and thorough. She got the charge dropped to a ticket which isn't something the prosecutor normally agrees to on a case like this but, she did it! Sharon, is the best attorney I've ever worked with and would recommend her to anyone in need of someone that will get the job done and exceed your expectations.

I hired Sharon a year ago to help me resolve a very tricky and very tough probation revocation case in Collin county's 219th district court. I had violated a term of my probation about 15 months in and unfortunately it was the 3rd revocation since I picked up the original charges. I met with her and she armed me with a very detailed checklist of things to get done in order to increase my chances of getting one more chance. I spent a year completing all the terms that she laid out on the checklist and we put a plan together to take everything in front of the DA. Even though I knew I had the best attorney in the county on my side I was terrified that I just wasn't going to get the outcome I either wanted or felt I had deserved. I put my life in her hands and instead of getting prison time she worked a deal to let me continue on my probation and only do a week commitment in the county jail. For me and my family is was a blessing from God and the best possible outcome we could have ever hoped for. She's very firm and direct and even sometimes a bit stern but it's all in a good natured approach to helping her clients get their lives back on track.
I have had 4 different attorneys through the 5 years I've had these cases and Sharon is BY FAR the best one I've used. She took the time afterwards to send me a kind email letting me know how nice I was to work with and how much she hopes I make it to the finish line this time. If I had to recommend any attorney in Collin County for any criminal defense case it would be Sharon hands down, without even a second thought.

I'm not sure where to begin.. Mrs. Curtis is known in Collin County to be best criminal lawyer. She is upfront with you during a consultation and she delivers as promised. She worked with my immigration lawyer, who then consulted me on immigration consequences with the plea available. Her staff is friendly and reliable. She got me the best possible plea that I could ask for and it has changed my life. If you have a drug charge/DWI/DUI.. Please don't waste your time anywhere else. She is known in Collin county as a hardass lawyer and she lives up to that reputation.
