David Ritter grew up near Houston. As the oldest of six, he came to realize the benefits of hard work and responsibility. He put himself through college at The University of Texas at Austin, and then law school at the University of Houston Law Center where he graduated in the top 20% of his class. David served as a research editor on the Houston Journal of International Law while in law school.
David has over 23 years experience in commercial and business litigation, and business restructuring. David became known as an aggressive litigator and creative problem-solver. David enjoys being the attorney of choice for small businesses and entrepreneurial minded individuals. David strives to anticipate the end game early for the client.
David has represented clients across the nation including individuals, family owned businesses, trustees, receivers, community banks, large national banking associations, well financed private equity entities, and Fortune 500 companies. His clients span a variety of industries including oil, gas, and energy, banking and financial services, construction, retail and wholesale distribution, and real estate.
David serves as an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau and is called upon to adjudicate disputes between consumers and businesses. David is also a certified mediator having obtained his certificate for mediation at the A. A. White Dispute Resolution Center.
