NOT GUILTY BY JUDGE & JURY!!! SUPER ATTORNEY!!! Highly recommend this man.

I was arrested for suspicion of DWI 2. My professional career, clearance and retirement were at stake. My whole world as far as I was concerned would be turned upside down. Doug gave me a since of comfort relief after our initial meeting that I had found the person to save my career. I felt very co...nfident with hiring this man and his team to save my life as I knew it. Knowing now that, after meeting with 4 different Attorneys before Doug. Doug had great references, online positive reviews & the lack of negative review and a history of winning cases. His attentiveness in listening and understanding my extenuating circumstances with my job (my clearance), his case management skills (his team notifying me on every issue immediately), his "CAN DO" spirit, attention to detail (note taking during our meetings, his questioning me about the details surrounding the day & night of the arrest), professionalism (he didn't treat me like I was there for him, I wasn't just another poor sap for him to help), Being chosen as the "Super Lawyer of the year" by his colleague in Dallas County multiple years running ( http://www.superlawyers.com/texas/lawyer/Douglas-L-Wilder/4302d017-75cc-4c37-a72a-586c028bbb82.html ), courtroom experience (he seemed at home in the courtroom like it was "HIS" home playing field) and being a former prosecutor for Dallas County were reasons not only why I chose him, but why am glad to endorse and recommend this man and his team. My case was pushed back for quite a time for my job out of country. The Dallas ADA's team were adamant in hanging me out to dry they wouldn't budge or sway at all. They even had a supervisor with them through the entire trial, and they still didn’t prevail against Doug. During our meetings, Doug explained both sides of my case (good & bad), walked me thru every process, spoke of his network of experts readily available for us, worked with me on every issue and stayed positive thru it all. Getting an experts witness to inspect blood work process, to test the vials and blood independently. Doug and I seemed to be a team going into combat getting ready for trial. He gave me a since of trust in him and we built a camaraderie that I normally only get when I head "down range" with men that I will have to trust with my life and that was a real morale booster. Getting ready for trial, Doug was a machine... driving out to the area I was arrested, taking pictures, looking up state and local laws, finding loop holes wherever they may be that applied to my case, working and building a case like you would hope & expect a true professional attorney should. I was found NOT GUILTY by the judge and jury!!! One of the best days in my entire life!! My record, my good name, my freedom, my job, my clearance, my retirement... I owe it all to Doug Wilder. The Team: Judy was (and still is I'm sure) a knowledgeable and true asset to the "WILDER TEAM"! She handled my expungement process as stress free on me as possible. Very sweet and wonderful person as well. Although I didn't get to work with Rebecca very long, from the times we did interact, she was very professional, knowledgeable at her job and very sweet lady. I am a better person knowing Doug and his team. Thank you Doug, A thousand times thank you!! For saving my life, my career and returning my hope in the justice system that there are great lawyers out there like you who will fight to win not just settle, for those of us caught up in the legal system. Sincerely & eternally grateful, You know….

Best in the Buisness

This guy is amazing. The .137 that I blew was discouraging! Doug went to ALR hearing for me and documented the report. This was KEY. He took the time to go to scene of arrest and take pictures. There was a lot of little things in this case that took a big part in the results. He felt that going to ...a jury trial would be the best. He is about winning the case and not robbing you!! I can communicate with him with phone, mostly text. I could always call and talk to Judy or Rebecca if I needed to. During the trial he pointed out enough inefficiencies from the cop that the judge basically gave me NOT GUILTY. My job was on the line here! (CDL) Thank You Doug, my life, career and family are back to normal. I highly recommend Doug Wilder for a DWI case!!

The Wilder Firm is the right choice!

When I was arrested for suspicion of DUI shortly after moving to Dallas County (Nov. 2008), I did not know what I was going to do to defend myself and did not know any lawyers. After speaking to a few colleagues, I received Doug's name as a referral and thought I would give him a call. Doug agre...ed to meet with me right away, and upon our first meeting I knew Doug and his staff were the right team for me. Doug met me personally and clearly explained the next steps and put my mind at ease. Immediately, he had a plan to take on my case and laid out steps for me to take (i.e. M.A.D.D, driver education, etc.) Doug was very up front about the costs of his services and there were never any surprises or unexpected costs added on for his expertise. Doug and his team maintained consistent contact with me throughout the process and the pre-trial court appearances. His staff was very knowledgeable about the proceedings and helped me every step of the way. I felt at ease with the professional manner of the team, and Doug's personable style kept me calm and confident about the outcome of my case. Doug's extensive knowledge of the law and DUI police protocol ultimately resulted in receiving a fair and equitable plea agreement to accept a lesser charge and the DUI charge dismissed. After 15 months of unsupervised probation, my case is behind me. Fast forward to 2014 - When completing an application for a professional license, I was required to complete a background check form that required information pertaining to my previous case. I could not find the relevant information and gave Doug's office a call. Doug answered my call and immediately went to work for me all over again, providing me with the information from my case and helped me complete my application by instructing me on how to properly answer the questions (i.e. probation, my plea deal, cause#, etc.). Long story short, call the Wilder Firm - you will thank yourself.

Exceptional Relationships & Case Planning

Doug handled a DUI case for me that was eventually dismissed after nearly 3 years. His management of the case was exceptional. Most impressive (and impactful to the result) was his extensive relationships on both sides of the courtroom and throughout the industry. His ability to plan out the case an...d utilize all resources available to us was critical to the positive end result of the case. Doug broke down the different aspects of the case - both strong and weak - and built an action plan for each, again utilizing highly credible experts and resources. I was really shocked at the extent of his network of people, both local and across the country. I'm very grateful to him for his dedication to the case and fighting to the very end for me. I would highly recommend Doug for anyone who feels it's critical to put up the toughest defense possible.
