I was stopped at a red light with two blown out tires when a cop behind me turned on his lights. After stumbling through a field sobriety test, I was arrested. At the station I blew a .101, got charged with a Texas DWI, and spent the night in jail. A DWI on anyone’s record is an expensive ordea...l that lingers forever. In my case it would hit me especially hard because I’d worked my way up in corporate America, in regulatory compliance, and my very bright career future could be snuffed--or at least significantly dimmed with a DWI on my record. I seriously thought i was screwed when i got my DWI. I didn't know what to think, who to ask for answers for any of my questions, or anything about this entire process. Thankfully I was referred to Doug by family, and i couldn't be happier with that choice.
