I was devastated when I was arrested for a DWI and took the search for a defense attorney very seriously. I did hours of research on Dallas DWI attorneys before interviewing about a dozen in person. I hired Doug a few years ago after I read reviews that he was the best in Dallas for DWI cases. From the beginning to the end of the process Doug and his team were pinpoint on their decision making and guidance. I rec'd my 2nd DWI with child 10 years after my first. For the type of work I do, I could NOT have a felony charge on my record. I met with Doug and was impressed. He was very honest and explained this would be difficult but not impossible. He immediately had me attend AA meetings, attend repeat offe...nder program, attend A Court Class, and get a sober link which I breathed in 4 times a day. My case took a while to finally see a court room which made me stress more but worked in my favor because it allowed me the time to do all the things he asked me to do. I made sure I did it all too!! I finally met with the DA and went before the judge. Doug was not only able to have my felony charges reduced to a misdemeanor but I did not have to do any jail time.
