I want to share my honest experience with an attorney at Richardson Brown, Jennifer Richardson in the hopes of helping others avoid the lengthy wait and heartache that came from my experience. If this feedback saves someone from spending thousands of hard-earned dollars without proper representation,... then it has served its purpose.
**Availability**: Jennifer was rarely accessible. I often had to wait 2-3 weeks for our scheduled brief consultations. Most of my emails were answered by her assistants, who unfortunately were not very helpful.
**Familiarity with My Case**: When I finally had the chance to speak with Jennifer, she had little recollection of our previous discussions and needed to review her notes. It felt as though she did not fully understand my case.
**Meeting with Opposing Counsel**: When it was finally time to meet with the opposing counsel months later, Jennifer again was unable to meet with me beforehand. Her follow-up with the opposing counsel was unprofessional and inappropriate, filled with casual emojis that left me feeling uneasy about her trustworthiness. Additionally, she edited the version of her correspondence that she sent to me, which raised concerns that she was trying to hide something. I later obtained the original email through her assistant.
**Confidentiality Breach**: The final straw was when Jennifer shared confidential information with the opposing counsel without my authorization. Given the contentious nature of my case, this breach left me blindsided, vulnerable, and worried about the safety of myself and my two young children.
I immediately terminated Jennifer’s services as soon as I discovered her betrayal as my attorney.
For these reasons, I cannot recommend Richardson Brown. Please consider seeking representation elsewhere, where you will receive honest and dedicated service rather than being seen as just another opportunity for profit.
