Kelly M. Hunt is the Owner of Hunt Law PLLC. She is licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, and the Federal and Bankruptcy Courts in both the Eastern and Northern Districts of Oklahoma.
Originally from Michigan, Kelly gained experience by handling family and civil cases for an Access to Justice Clinic. She also worked with both Public Defender and Prosecutor's Offices, where she excelled at trial and appellate cases. Kelly was also instrumental in creating one of Michigan's first Veteran's Treatment Courts, where she helped Veterans who found themselves in the criminal justice system.
After moving to Oklahoma, Kelly worked as General Counsel for a small oil and gas company. There, she honed her skills in business and contract law, settlements and negotiations, property, title issues, and estate and probate matters.
Kelly is also an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa, where she teaches Research and Writing. She believes that the law should be down to earth and understandable and enjoys taking the complexity out of confusing legal documents and processes.
Kelly brings a wide range of skills and experience that is beneficial to Hunt Law. She has a great understanding of the every day legal matters and strives to make the process as easy and understandable as possible.
