Holding a JD from Baylor University School of Law, an additional law certification in International Trade Markets from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, a Masters in Liberal Arts in Environmental Politics, and a BA in Political Science, Communications, Philosophy, and minors in Physics and Chemistry from Arkansas Tech University. I am primarily and Oil and Gas, Real Estate and FDA Regulatory Defense Attorney; although, I have worked in Insurance Defense, Personal Injury, Criminal, Business and Asbestos Litigation.
My client list has allowed me opportunities to work not only as an Attorney, but also E&P Project Manager and Regulatory Specialist. Not restricting myself to only legal representation has allowed greater industry exposure and an increased the depth of my experience in Oil, Gas and Alternative Energy. Over the past decade, I have worked numerous onshore basins in the continental US including, but not limited to, the Barnett, Rockies/DJ Basin, Gulf Coast, Marcellus, Bakken, Fayetteville, Arkoma, Utica, and Mid-continent. I have diverse experience in the onshore oil and gas, wind and solar, working with and managing a diverse portfolio of projects and teams.
On a side note, I participated in discovering, developing, scientifically testing, and obtaining a Patent for an oral contraceptive for men (as well as women)—Birth Control Pill for Men (U.S. Pat. No. 6,753,319 European Patent EP1429786). Always makes for enjoyable conversation.
