My custody case was complex and took some turns that no one could have predicted. The Hickey Law Firm is exceedingly intelligent, highly professional, and a class act; they are genuine, kind, and real. They genuinely cared about me, and my case. They were great counselors for me during the process. Kevin and Courtney sought and obtained the route of less personal pain for me. And he did not try to take advantage of me in regards to cost, in fact I say he puts in a lot more work than what they get paid for, because they care.

Excellent service!!!

After being blindsided by DHS taking my child, I felt it necessary to hire the best lawyer to help me defend my family and work for the best interest of my son. Kevin Hickey and his team have been extremely helpful and worked with my family every step of the way. I was always kept in the loop of everything that happened during the case, and always had great representation in court and during negotiations. Any time I had a question or got overwhelmed with the whole situation, I could always call the office and speak with someone about my case. Knowledge Friendly team to see you through difficult situations

Superb

Mr. Hickey and his staff (Crystal and Rachelle) are the absolute best. They navigated me through one of the hardest, scariest situations in my life. He represented me through both a DHS case and also a divorce with the BEST outcome. They are compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. They always return emails and calls promptly. Reconciled

On August 19 I wrote a one-star review, since then Mr. Hickey had gotten in touch with me and refunded the appropriate amount of money. I believe that he is very busy and it was just an oversite. I appreciate that he reached out and corrected an oversite.

Child Custody Hearing

Kevin was my lawyer in my divorce proceedings and most recently in a child custody hearing. My ex sued me for custody of our children. We went to court and as Kevin kept reassuring me there were no grounds to change custody. He was right! I still have custody of my boys!! He's a great lawyer who really does care about his clients. I would highly recommend Kevin Hickey.

Very quick process

I contacted Kevin about my divorce and explained the situation. He helped me understand the process and what to expect. I worked mostly with Crystal throughout the process and everything moved quickly. From filing to final was only about 34 days.

We Knew Kevin Was the Right Choice

A newcomer to the United States, I lost custody of my children because I did not know the law and did not have any money to pay for an attorney. Fantastic Service From Beginning Until The End

We were referred to Kevin HIckey and one of his associates, Brad Hull. From the initial consultation until the case reached mediation we were treated with respect and dignity. Our complaint was handled very professionally by Kevin and his team. Our case was an extremely complicated case with many different factors and several groups that were represented buy their individual attorneys. Kevin and Brad remained fair, firm and considerate to each attorney and every defendant throughout the case. It took approximately 1.5 years from the time Kevin agreed to accept it for us to reach mediation and complete the final steps of our case. Throughout the process, both Kevin and Brad as well as their team could not have been more supportive. Their insight and knowledge of civil law helped us to feel reassured that our case was being handled appropriately and that every option for each level of the case was explained with great detail. They were able to closely predict the course of the case at each level and were extremely respectful and quick to respond to any question or concern that we had. Their work in our case was always handled professionally and expeditiously and we were always well informed each step of the way. Handled it right and well!!

When I first did my consultation with Kevin back in Sept 2012 I asked him about how long it would take to get a divorce done... he told me average was 6 months... well, after 5 years of I can't make up my mind, back and forth, up and down, it's really finally settled! It's been a L O N G time coming, but thank you for putting up with me for so long and getting it done right!! You dealt with me through an array of emotions, while at the same time, educating me about the process, as well as keeping the best interest of our kids at heart! I couldn’t recommend a better lawyer for going through something so complicated!!

Excellent, knowledgeable, and reasonable cost

Custody Case

Mr. Hickey helped me get custody of my boys. All told the process lasted over a year and he was there every step of the way. If I ever need these type of services again I can say without hesitation I will be seeking his services. I was informed every step of the way as to how things looked for my case and if I had any questions they were always answered promptly and thoroughly. This made a very scary experience much less scary.

Very professional and genuine.

Long story short: Custody case with father going for full custody of 2 children. In Arkansas, this is not an easy win no matter the circumstances. Kevin and his staff were amazing! Was supposed to be a 3 month case and was drawn out for over a year and yet Kevin stayed on top of everything with absolutely excellent communication. I never went without any information and all emails were answered either by himself or his staff very promptly. Kevin handled the case as if it were his only case and didn't let me down and we WON! I now have custody of both my kids thanks to Kevin and his team. Hopefully I am never in another situation where I have to use Kevin's services, but if I am, then I know who to call!
