From the moment I talked with Debra on the phone, I knew we had found the right person. We live out of state and were desperate for an attorney we could trust to walk us through unfamiliar territory. The first time we spoke, she personally answered her phone at 6 pm. She told me about herself and what she would do to represent us, but there was no pressure to hire her. She patiently and thoroughly answered all of my many questions. She was very professional, honest, and took our situation very seriously; but at the same time she was exceptionally personable, likable and made me feel at ease during a very emotional and scary time.
Debra was efficient and detailed as she gave us a quick lesson in Arkansas law! She sent us all the information we needed, let us know what paper work needed to be done, and was good to follow up with phone calls and emails. Every step of the way she helped us understand what was going on. Without sugar-coating, she was specific and honest about best and worst case scenarios. When there was a decision to make, she gave us all of the information we needed to make it.
One thing that really impressed me is that she knew the personalities of the county judges, prosecuting attorneys, and other attorneys. Watching her interact with them, I could tell she had a respectful, professional working relationship with them.
I sincerely mean it when I say "she went the extra mile"... both literally and figuratively! She drove many miles on our account during the duration of our ordeal. She never acted like it was out of her way, even though I know it was. She treated us like we were her only client, even though we weren't. Her services went well beyond what was required.
She did an AMAZING job representing our interests and we got AMAZING results! I have the feeling she may have been seen as being a little "pushy" with people in the system, but the way I see it, she was fighting for us! She took our case to heart, had a full understanding of it, and presented our situation in a sincere and passionate way. She not only was our attorney, she was also our guide, friend and counselor.
The final outcome of our case could not have been better. I would highly recommend Debra Reece as a trustworthy, hard-working, knowledgable attorney! We loved her, and feel grateful and blessed for having found her.

We are from a different state and had a child attending college in Arkansas that was wrongfully accused of act they did not commit. Not being from Arkansas, we did some internet searches and we “Thank God every Day” found and contacted Debra Reece and had an initial conversation over the phone for 30 minutes. Our family had never had any experience with the legal system and we were in panic mode to protect our child, but did not know what to do. Debra took the time to listen as we explained the situation and we made arrangements to meet later that day in person. From that initial phone call clear through the DA not pressing charges, Debra made this stressful situation at least somewhat bearable. Her knowledge, reputation as a lawyer and legal and personal advice to our child made all the difference. We hired a lawyer and made a friend for life.

I had spoken to several Attorneys in the local area and one of them suggested Ms. Reece out of Russellville. I drove the longer distance to meet her and after explaining my situation and what occurred, I was instantly impressed with the knowledge she had and the enthusiasm to win my case. I chose her to represent me immediately and was not disappointed in my choice. She knew the law and all the landmark cases to support her reasoning. She filed a motion to suppress the evidence because of illegal entry and had a bulldog approach in questioning the Detectives and Officers involved. Setting them up in lie after lie proving my rights had been violated. In her Brief to the Judge after the Suppression Hearing, she restated several cases that made my case. The Judge had no choice but to throw out the evidence.. And my case was thrown out. I would recommend her to anyone...
Lori Howard, Family Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I was a former student of Ms. Reece's, as well as a fellow attorney in the community with her. I find her to be an excellent attorney, and she offers her client services that are top-notch. She does whatever it takes to get the job done for her clients, and you can truly tell that she loves what she does every day. As her student, I found that she pushed us hard to achieve, because she knew that is what it also takes to be a good attorney.
