Whitfield has defended over a thousand criminal cases and goes to trial several times a month.

 

While in law school in Fayetteville, Whitfield was President of the Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies and founder of the Criminal Law Society and a member of the International Law Society, the Christian Legal Society, and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Whitfield also obtained prestigious externships, working for the Honorable Judge Chadd Mason in the Circuit Court of Washington and Madison Counties and Congressman Steve Womack in Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District.

Whitfield grew up in Marion, Arkansas and made his way to NWA after attending undergraduate at the University of Central Arkansas where he majored in International Trade Economics with a double minor in German and International Studies. While at UCA Whitfield accepted scholarships which allowed him to study abroad in Germany and Canada, he also worked as an intern for the Department of State at the United States Embassy to Greece in Athens.

Worth the money
Whit was hired to resolve a DWI - FTA I was awarded from the great city of Fort Smith back in 2009. It's 2017? Yah I know.. During the same period I also hired Whit to resolve a dept I owed Alma AR from 2001. ( I had 5 dollars remaining on a traffic violation I got when I was 16, it collected some interest to around 1,700 bucks. Make sure to get a receipt from those fellows.... ) Anyways the man is straight forward with facts and won't BS you in anyway. He is sharp as a tack in his craft and I think he is very fair with his fee. He will save your number, so when you call or text he knows who you are. If he can't answer he's very good about getting back to you. My case was unique to put that out there but I will let you know about it. DWI thrown out, 400 $ fine on the FTA for the Fort. 900 off of Alma's fine. NO JAIL TIME.....Thanks Whit..

MIP case
Whit kept me informed through out the whole process and accomplished everything he said he would. I would, with out a doubt, hire Whit again for any legal troubles he could assist me with. Because of Whit my charges got dropped and my future was secured.

without going into details about my case, let me say that the best thing I have done in many years was to retain Whit. Easy going and well respected in the Courtroom, Whit took a dark cloud and made a mighty fine sunny day out of it. If you are in Arkansas and forget you have a tiny bit of weed in the car, this is the go to guy. Thank you Whit.

Got me off a DWI
I blew a .17 but he made the breath results inadmissible and we won the case at trial! This was very important to me because I was not allowed to have a DWI in my MOS (I'm in the army). I would have had to go back to weeks of training and maybe even a demotion.

Review of hiring Atty. Hyman to help with my son with an Arkansas Case
I would definitely recommend this attorney. I had a recent issue with my son, who had a legal issue in Fayetteville, Arkansas, but he lived in another area of the United States, and I called Atty. Hyman with the frustration of not being able to resolve the dilemma that my son had encountered. Not only did Atty. Hyman immediately look into the matter but gave a quick resolve that will clear up the matter with my son.

Who's the best lawyer ever?
W. Whitfield Hyman is the best lawyer ever. In all seriousness though he does his job. Interactions with him are always comfortable as he is calm and confident. He helped me through my Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance charges, which in the end he got dropped because he knows what he's doing. He was constantly available to answer my questions thoroughly throughout the whole process, and was very good about informing me about the newest information he had on my situation. It should be noted that Mr. Hyman is in likeness to the fictional character Saul Goodman in the best way possible.

Helped me with my immigration case!
Gary King and Whitfield Hyman helped me get my I-130 Visa! Mr. Hyman is very easy to get along with and walked me through every step of the process. He is very knowledgeable about immigration matters and answered all of my questions honestly and thoroughly. I would hire him again and will recommend him to friends and work colleagues.

He helped me set up a corporation with by laws that met my specifications and put me on fast track to getting a liquor license in a dry county.
