Olivier “Butch” Carriere focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury matters. After graduating from Loyola School of Law in 1997, he began working as an Assistant District Attorney with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office under Harry Connick, Sr. In this capacity, Mr. Carriere tried numerous jury trials including cases involving murder, rape, kidnapping, arson, and drug crimes. Mr. Carriere was promoted to a Senior trial attorney and assigned to the major narcotics unit. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Carriere opened his law practice handling criminal and civil matters including felony charges, DWI, personal injury, and domestic cases.
Mr. Carriere has extensive experience in defending all levels of criminal charges including narcotics offenses and DWI or DUI cases.
