I am Kansas City born and raised.  I spent four wonderful years in Nashville Tennessee; however, I knew I was coming back home eventually.  After completing law school at the University of Kansas, I began building a foundation for my own law practice.  Initially, I began practicing as a personal injury attorney.  Wanting to gain a better understanding for the craft, and in an effort to gain more experience, I worked for an insurance defense company.  While those jobs taught me about the process, I wanted to hone my skill in the courtroom.   I opened my own criminal defense firm in 2014.  I was in the courtroom nearly everyday.  I worked cases ranging from DUI, Domestic Battery, Murder and everything in between.  

Now, I am putting that foundation to use for my clients. I believe that my success hinges on my reputation with my clients.  As a result, I take pride in ensuring client satisfaction with each case. I would be honored to put my experience to work for you.

An Attorney That Will Fight For You!
I was facing serious felony charges and looking at going to prison for an extended amount of time along with obviously my life changing forever (not in a good way). After getting motions denied, having prosecution over charge me, I almost gave up. In comes Zach Thomas! This man fought for me at trial like he was defending his family. In the end I was found Not Guilty on all charges. Zach literally got me a second chance at life! Zach is hands down THE TOP defense attorney in JOCO, well respected and will listen and fight for you to the very end. I recommend Zach Thomas for any legal issues you may have!

Outstanding Attorney!

An Attorney You Can Trust!
I had a criminal case sometime back that was a cause of great concern and anguish. Zach took the time to listen to my side of the events and was a great help in answering my questions at all times of the day. The only reason he gets one star is because you have to give a star to write a review.
If you are in any type of legal trouble, then you should run far away from Zach Thomas. I don't know how this man passed the bar. He doesn't answer phone calls, he does not respond to emails, he does not show up to court dates and when he does show up he's 45 minutes late. I was facing felony charges that I know we could've got downgraded to a misdemeanor, but Zach Thomas has no clue how to talk to prosecution. Therefore I ended up stuck with a felony when I didn't have to. I have since fired Zach as my lawyer and I highly recommend you do the same.
