Dillon Heginbottom is a caring Associate Attorney at the firm’s Overland Park, Kansas office location, assisting clients throughout Johnson County, KS and the surrounding areas. Dillon attended Washburn University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May 2021. While in law school, he obtained a certificate in Advocacy and was a member of various organizations including the Moot Court Council and the Order of the Barristers, while also competing Moot Court and Oralist competitions. Before studying law, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri where he also was a member of Alpha Tau Omega, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Central Missouri Academic Collegiate Scholars. Dillon is currently licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri. Before joining the Overland Park divorce lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Dillon most recently worked for a collections law firm where he conducted trials, drafted and argued motions, and oversaw the collections activity from start to finish. Before this, he worked for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office where he conducted hearings in Probate Court, drafted motions, and also attended criminal depositions and client interviews. Dillon has also spent time with various law firms and legal support services firms throughout the Kansas City area, gaining valuable legal experience and working to develop his skills as an attorney. When Dillon is not busy helping his clients, he can often be found spending time at the lake with his wife and dog.
