From the very start of meeting with Joe I could tell he genuinely cared about me and my situation. We talked about it in his office one afternoon. I told him what I had done and what had happened since the incident. He never judged me but was very careful to answer all my questions. My parents we...re there with me and he made them welcome as well. Joe immediately began reaching out to the local prosecutor to find out if there were any charges filed against me yet. And he informed the prosecutor's office that he was representing me. All of this was before I had paid him his attorney's fee. A few weeks after Joe and I had met I was arrested and taken to jail. One more thing I almost forgot: As I understand, he got me a significant discount on my bond. He told the bondsman and the judge that I was worthy of this discount. When I contacted Mr. Passanise I was in desperate need of help.
