 I am passionate about helping you through all of your life transitions – from cradle to grave. I’ve been an attorney since 1994, when I was graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. I first began the practice of law in Scott County, Missouri as the only public defender assigned to the entire county.  After two years in the rural area, my family and I moved to the Kansas City metro area where I joined the Department of Social Services representing the Children’s Division in child abuse and neglect cases.  After 8 years with the Department of Social Services, I joined the Earnshaw Hobbs Law Firm PC to continuing and broaden my advocacy skills on behalf of families and children. After almost 6 years with Earnshaw Hobbs, I opened my own firm, Kiske Law Office, LLC, in Zona Rosa.  I am licensed in both Missouri and Kansas (and hold an inactive license in Illinois). Because I also like to challenge myself, I am usually engaged in one or two large “extra-curricular” activities. Currently, I am privileged to serve on the Board of Directors for MARCH mediation. I am also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts, and I have received the AVVO client’s choice award for Family Law in 2014. In my “free time” I volunteer for a hospice organization where I play flute duets for patients in hospice.

I am also grateful for my personal life experiences that have enabled me to be empathetic with my clients. I have personally been through a divorce with children, experienced the death of a parent, and many of the life transitions that we all experience.

At the Kiske Law Office, LLC, I am responsible for child custody cases, child abuse cases, divorces, paternities, guardianships, and traffic matters, and simple estate planning. I developed the Mobile Lawyer Services to more effectively meet the needs of our aging and disabled clients. I truly enjoy helping clients resolve their parenting and other legal issues. I am grateful for the opportunity to counsel clients on issues related to their family, children and loved ones.

Best ever

Very attentive
Anne took over my custody case that needed to be transferred from another state. Her staff is very friendly and always available when you need them. She and her staff were very open with the process, stayed on top of things, explained everything very clearly to me, and was supportive as well. She was able to identify issues while advocating for myself and my daughter and successfully to a judge which was key in obtaining our favorable result. Anne is an amazing attorney and her staff is the best, if you have any family matters she’s the lady to see!

Wouldn't choose anyone else!
Anne handled my annulment 5 years ago and my custody case just recently. We started my custody case pre pandemic and finished it up in the middle of it. The interactions were flawless and every step was taken to make sure both parties felt safe. Questions were always answered faster then expected. The first meeting was informative and anne laid out exactly what my next steps needed to be and why. Luckily the father in the custody case and I are on good terms, so Anne made sure no actual court appearances needed to be made. With the annulment case, Anne went above and beyond finding a judge to annul a gay marriage. Driving all the way to the next town to make sure it got done! I would absolutely recommend Kiske Law to anyone. Anne was professional and I always felt secure and knowledgeable about what was happening every step of the way. Worth every penny!

I hired Anne for a judgment case I had because it interfered with my name change, which she also did for me. Long Divorce, Awesome Team
My case took well over a year, and it started with my ex and I trying to just agree to terms and finalize paperwork with one lawyer to reduce cost. Once I realized I was gonna end up with nothing, I went to Anne. Anne not only got everything I had asked for (50/50 custody, no child support, even holidays, etc.), she worked with me no matter the situation was. I received responses to any of my questions usually within the hour. If she was out of the office, there was still someone there to assist me with my needs. She took time out of her own day to help, would stay late so I could come after work to meetings, and even stayed on the phone with me at odd hours while I was deployed overseas. I would suggest using Anne if you are having serious issues with a person who is just not agreeable. I ended up with everything I had asked for originally, plus more. It was definitely worth the investment to ensure I have my kids.
