When I first came to this location it was not owned by Vanessa but by a woman named Lydia I believe. It was a terrible experience, the rudest woman that I have met in many years. I only came back because she started my divorce and I felt that I would have issues with my wife if I changed attorneys. W...hat a breath of fresh air doing business with Vanessa. Jeremy is who I had most of my contact with and kept me up to date every step of the way. I am divorced now and I cannot express the thousands of dollars that I saved and how professionally that I was treated. Thank you Vanessa & Jay

I hired Vanessa to do some varied legal work for me starting in October of 2017. She was not only late all the time but she avoided my phone calls, text messages and emails until I practically had to scream at her. Most of the time I had to speak with her boyfriend who has no training in the legal fi...eld. One of the things I hired her for was to write a cease and desist letter. Her boyfriend tried to serve it to the defendant before I even had a chance to approve it. Another legal matter I hired her for she said she filed my case when she hadn't and she used a different county venue without my permission. The filing fee was less there but she has so far refused to respond to my requests for the partial refund I am due. She did a horrible job of representing me in one of my court cases - she did not know the facts of my case and she let the opposing counsel convince her to continue the case when it should have been presented immediately. During the month of it being continued not ONCE did she get in contact with opposing counsel to try to settle our dispute. Instead, that month gave him a lot of time to prepare his client and he bombarded me with questions that I should have been informed about by Vanessa. Her cross examination was a joke - the defendant didn't answer her questions about the issue in question - she answered questions about the cease & desist letter we had sent her. Vanessa didn't even know that's what she was doing because again, she had not studied my case well enough. Apart from her being dismissive of me as a client, and not filing things in a timely manner I don't feel she takes the time to properly prepare for court and her lack of communication just makes things that much worse. NEVER again would I use her and I would never allow my family, friends and acquaintances to use her.

The first time I retained Vanessa was in 2011, 2 days after my nephew came to live with me. On his second day here while running an errand for me, he was stopped and arrested for some outstanding drug (Marijuana) charges and a variety of traffic issues. I thought he would surely lose his drivers lice...nse and go to jail but to the contrary and my surprise, Vanessa was able to negotiate with the prosecutor and get his charges reduced or dropped completely. In the end, my nephew paid a relatively small fine and received a few points on his license. For the amount of time and effort she put into my nephews cases, she could have charged us a lot more than she did. Her prices are reasonable and fair. I was so impressed with the professionalism and legal skill Vanessa displayed while handling my nephews issues that I called and asked for her help regarding several matters for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease. Vanessa is always a professional, diligent, methodical and skilled attorney who has helped me and my family greatly. My mom passed away in June of 2017 and Vanessa has been there for anything we have needed. My calls are always returned promptly and she patiently answers my questions even though she probably answered the same question several times already. I'm sure I will need her services again at some point in my life and highly recommend Vanessa to anyone that needs an attorney.
