Traveling from Columbia - Speeding Ticket in KC

I found Aimee's website on the internet. I live in Columbia but needed a Kansas City based attorney to handle my speeding ticket. I was traveling to KC for business and was pulled over for doing 70mph in a 55mph about 10 miles outside of the city on I-70. I was shocked to discover that there was ev...en a 55mph zone that far away from the metro area. The officer was courteous and explained to me the different speed zones leading in to KC. I explained to him that I was not familiar with the area and that I didn't notice any signs for the speed changes. I was paying attention to my GPS and was going as fast as every other car on the road - I guess this was just my unlucky day. I too was courteous to the officer and tried desperately to at least get the speed of the ticket reduced as it was truly an honest mistake. And, the fact that I was going just as fast as every other car on the road I really thought he could've reduced the severity of the ticket. But he did not. I have only received 2 other speeding tickets in my lifetime and have never thought to fight them. But this one just struck me as excessive and a little unnecessary. So, I found Aimee's website and filled out the online form explaining my case. Within just a few hours Aimee called me back in person. Not her assistant, not another attorney, not a follow up email - but a personal call back from Aimee herself! She explained to me that there are 7 different speed changes leading in to the KC metro area and that if a driver is not familiar with the area, they could easily fall victim to speeding without even knowing it. She thoroughly explained what she would and could do for me, the timeline, and the payment options. Within days she contacted me and informed me that she got the ticket reduced to a non-moving violation. So no points on my license and no increase in my insurance rate! I was completely amazed not only by the outcome of the ticket but by the swift turn around of the entire process. From start to finish it only took a few days to get everything resolved. Outstanding Aimee!! I will recommend your services to everyone.

Traffic ticket defense

She handled a traffic ticket for me. As an attorney myself, I understand the challenge of keeping all my clients advised as to the progress in their cases and promptly returning all of their calls and responding to all of their emails. She did it seemingly with ease. She also obtained the result t...hat she anticipated: dropping the charge to a non-moving violation so as to avoid the points.

Peace of mind

As a CDL holder, traffic violations are a threat to my livelihood. Therefore, I was very proud of having no tickets and no accidents for the past 9 years. Unfortunately, this spring I got a speeding ticket (71 in a 55). I was already pretty stressed because 15 mph over is a "serious" violation for ...a CDL holder. (Two "serious" violations within any 3 year period = a 60 day CDL suspension) . Four days later, I happened to drive through a residential intersection where the local neighbors had been complaining to the police about the traffic. An officer was positioned at that intersection, and I received a "Failure to yield" citation. After 2 tickets in one week, I was terrified that my employer would say I was too risky and pull me off the road, or just fire me. Fortunately, Aimee Gromowsky was very knowledgeable and experienced with the judges and prosecutors in Kansas City, MO. She immediately told me it was highly likely that the severity of both charges could be reduced, one or both could be changed to non-moving violations, and therefore, the threat to my employment would be removed. I wouldn't even need to appear in court. This was very reassuring, and I felt very confident as the court date approached. She told me up front exactly what her fee would be, and gave me a very good estimate of the fine I would have to pay. Now the case is resolved, and she exceeded my expectations. The speeding ticket was reduced to a non-moving violation, and the "failure to yield" was dismissed. My fine was even a little lower than she had estimated. I would recommend Aimee Gromowsky to any good driver who gets some bad luck and needs some professional legal help.
