Bankruptcy law is my focus.  Along with all attorneys at The Sader Law Firm, I help individuals, families and businesses, throughout Missouri and Kansas, with bankruptcy matters.  We handle cases in Chapters 7, 11 and 13, primarily on behalf of debtors but also creditors.  My cases include straight forward Chapter 7’s to complex Chapter 11 cases for small, medium and large businesses.  I work with my clients on all aspects of a bankruptcy case, from the initial phone call to meeting with the client, preparing the schedules and pleadings, dealing with creditors and the trustee, attending court hearings and keeping the client informed through conclusion of the case.  Whether a case is simple or complex, I listen to my client to determine what is in the client’s best interest and then figure out how to achieve the goal.  I realize the importance of returning calls and emails promptly, keeping clients informed, and the need for attorney fees to be reasonable.

The Sader Law Firm is dedicated to treating its clients with respect.  We treat people as we would want to be treated.  You deal personally with your attorney, during work hours your call will be answered by our receptionist and not a machine, we provide free underground parking and when you come to our office you will be offered a soft drink or coffee and a pleasant environment.

As a practicing attorney since 1984, and one certified as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification, as AV rated (the highest rating) by Martindale and as a Super Lawyer since 2006, I enjoy putting my knowledge and experience to work for my clients.  In addition to bankruptcy matters, I handle Landlord-Tenant issues regarding commercial real estate and collections.  Initial phone consultations are always free and I can usually give you a very good idea during that initial call of what can be accomplished and the cost.  Calls are often returned 7 days a week and appointments are available after standard hours.

Sader Law Firm gave us peace of mind under crippling student loan debt
Sader Law has been an incredible team to work with as we were navigating stressful and insurmountable student loan debt. For some context, the original loan amount started at $150K, which is already a large sum. However we faced job loss right after graduation and as payments on the loans were to begin. Long story short, after years of no to low income and constant deferment, the interest and fees inflated the loans to over half a million dollars. A monthly payment of $4k was expected otherwise we would face damaging wage garnishment. This was such a devastating situation and we had no hope of a way out. We knew we needed to find a firm that specializes in student loan debt and came across Sader Law Firm. We connected with Neil Sader who was very compassionate towards our situation and talked us through the possible next steps we could take. It was the first time in a long time that we felt we had some hope in such a difficult situation.  We were soon paired with Stephan Skepnak, the awesome associate attorney with Sader Law, and worked through a solid action plan. He advised us on how to connect with the loan holders and convert our loans so that they could not only be properly consolidated for the most optimal repayment plan, but also deferred under the current moratorium. Stephan was always very open and honest; always presenting us with the best path forward and one that would benefit us in the long run.  The team at Sader truly cares for their clients and were willing to invest the time and energy to place us in the best position for long term success. We'll be continuing to work with them in the future and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Thank You Neil Sader!
After running a successful business for 15 years it was a shock to have to consider Bankruptcy to protect our Family. My personal Attorney recommended I meet with Neil. He was kind, understanding and incredibly knowledgeable about the process. After our first meeting, I knew we had made the right decision retaining Neil's service. Due to a change from Chapter 7 to Chapter 13 mandated by the Court as well as complications from my prior business our Case stretched out over two years. Neil was always there if we had questions and kept us abreast of developments throughout the process. Bankruptcy appeared to be complicated, embarrassing and quite frankly terrifying. Neil kept us calm, collected and protected throughout the entire process. Thanks to Neil, our plan is in place and our family is living comfortably while it runs it's course. I would recommend Neil to anyone including my friends and family.

Amazing Experience
We were working with another attorney for almost 2 years that had us in a chapter 13 that ended up getting dismissed due to the attorney not filing the correct paperwork on time. We contacted Mr. Sader and set up a meeting. In one meeting he was able to see that we should be in a chapter 7, refiled the case, and 5 months later the case was discharged and we were debt free. Mr. Sader and his team turned a very stressful time into a worry-free experience and we could not be any happier with the results.

Saved Us!
My husband and I came to Neil in URGENT need of assistance with our case due to our previous attorney's gross negligence, incompetence and abandonment; that left us in a huge legal mess. We had contacted other attorneys and they were unwilling to take on the task. Neil and his associate Chris C., were able to get our judgment reversed and complete our case file properly. Our previous attorney was ordered by the court to refund the fees we paid her and she was brought to Justice on several other cases where she did not represent her clients' best interests, to say the least. Neil's services cost more than originally expected. HOWEVER, we were fully aware that the costs would likely increase with our case being so multifaceted. Not only did he help us, but as a byproduct, he helped several other families who had fallen victim to our previous attorney's scrupulous business practices. We are so grateful that we found the right lawyer.

Peace of mind
Neil made the whole process pain free. He walked me through the entire process, and honestly, I came out of it in better shape financially, then when I started! His whole staff was very friendly, and made me feel welcome every time I visited his office or had contact on the phone.

SEARCH NO FURTHER! TRULY A 5 STAR PROFESSIONAL!
I know first hand, if you're researching bankruptcy attorneys, you may possibly be feeling extremely overwhelmed, defeated and maybe hopeless. I certainly was experiencing all the feelings I just referenced. Prior to connecting with Neil, I was literally living a financially uncertain life. To keep it as short as possible, I had originally hired a different attorney to assist me & was advised to file Chapter 13. I did not do my homework. I just assumed ( never do that ) lol... Any Bankruptcy attorney would be fine! I THOUGHT to myself, it's not litigation or... Etc. WRONG!! I learned the hard way, it TRULY MATTERS that you choose your Bankruptcy attorney just as carefully as you would a Neuro Surgeon! I'm serious! Neil was my life line!! I had medical issues, structural issues with my home & everyone wanting what little money I had left to literally eat & have my lights on! Neil was a true blessing! He is VERY good at what he does!! He is ALWAYS available. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and ethically has YOUR best interest at heart! His professionalism is second to none. Well, his track record proves this but I've experienced it! I knew I was being advised appropriately durning our first meeting. He understood issues I was personally dealing with and went the extra mile to keep me informed and on track with every detail that was required of me. I RARELY write reviews, however, I hope if you are searching, you stop here. If I can save one person from living daily in what feels like ( a bad dream ) or give you hope to know you will be represented as you deserve and will feel the weight begin to lift, by allowing Neil to represent you... Then I've blessed someone. Neil handles Bankruptcy of all types, most certainly bigger than mine... However, I always felt and knew I mattered as much as any other case, large or small. I'll close with this: Neil Sader is as good as it gets in my opinion. When you & a family member leave your court day with the trustee, feeling a little sad you will not see Neil much more... That speaks for itself to me!! Also, I think ( not certain but you can look into it ) Bankruptcy Attorneys generally charge the same amount across the board, depending on your Chapter.? If that's the case... And with an Attorney of this caliber, it's a definite hands down, no brainer. I wish you the best and I hope you choose Neil Sader. You will find the peace of mind I found!

Strong Legal Advice from an Honest Attorney.
From the moment I called Neil Sader and his colleagues at the Sader Law Firm I felt a tremendous burden lifted from my shoulders. Not only did he provide me sound legal advice but helped myself and my family through a very emotional time in our lives. All of my dealings were treated ethically and honestly. Neal's first comment he said to me was "You are going to be fine and we will deal with this situation correctly and honestly". Neal's advice throughout the bankruptcy process has allowed me to move on with my life. He was able to rid my family of the stress as well as show me that life can move forward. I would recommend the Sader Law Firm to anyone in dire need of sound, honest, legal advice.

Neil is an amazing Attorney!! I would recommend him he saved our house and our marriage!!!
My husband and I were working with Attorneys down in Florida at CAS and they were absolutely worthless. Twelve hours before the foreclosure we found out that we could file Chapter 13 so I did a search online for emergency foreclosures and found Neil. I CAN NOT say so many great things about an Attorney. He met with us that day we found out and had our bankruptcy filed 3 hours before our house went to the court house steps. Neil is an absolutely amazing attorney. I hardly know him and would recommend him to several people. Thank you Neil for saving our home and our marriage!! You are the best Attorney I have ever met and I have met a few in my day!!!

Great attorney that helped make our lives better
My husband and I had a very difficult case that involved a lot of time and work. We did meet with a couple of different attorney's, but found Neil to be the most knowledgeable, helpful, flexible and kind with our difficult case. We are very busy people and Neil went above and beyond to meet with us he even met with us on a Sunday morning. A little over a year later we have a normal happy life again and I am very thankful to Neil for this and am so glad we found Sader Law Firm and made the choice to use him as our attorney. I would personally recommend anyone considering filing bankruptcy to use Sader Law Firm they do truly care about what is best for you and your family.

Neil's OK!
I chose Neil, and The Sadler Law Firm because when I was interviewing attorneys, I found several to be abrupt and a bit condescending, when it came to filing our chapter 13 bankruptcy. However, when I came across the Sadler Law Firm, and met with Neil I found myself in the company of a supportive and reassuring professional, who not only was very knowledgeable about the law, but helped us continually throughout the entire process. I have no problem recommending the Sadler Law Firm, and when you call ask for Neil! Thom and Greg

Thankful Every Day!
In 2004 my husband and I found ourselves in serious debt. My husband had survived cancer, which we were so thankful for, yet the debt was killing us. We were both working two jobs as well as raising two small children. We could see no way out of the debt and felt we were sinking. We finally decided to check into claiming bankruptcy and contacted Neil Sader. He assured us that we would be able to keep our home and our vehicles and that the process was relatively easy. Sure enough, our debt was gone and we were able to start fresh. In the years since our claim we have sold a home and are now purchasing a new one without any any repercussions of the bankruptcy. We have credit cards and have an excellent credit record. The only thing I regret is not filing for bankruptcy sooner, all those sleepless nights would have been avoided. Neil helped my family see a new future and I am thankful every day!

Excellent representation
Both Neil Sader and Brad McCormack did an excellent job in representing me. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and expedient in addressing my legal needs, and did so for a fair and predetermined fee. I have already referred them and would recommend them to anyone.

Running the Clock and not Filing correctly and on Time
Failed to File Basic Suggestion of Death Properly Failed to File Motion to Dismiss on Time Above actions were to drag out the case and run up the bill Resulted in judge's opinion same as above.
Response from Neil Sader September 9, 2014
I am always sorry when a client is unhappy and regret that with this client. However, to be fair, it should be pointed out the above former client retained my services to obtain a bankruptcy discharge for him and his wife despite a state court jury finding him liable for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and misappropriating funds from his mother's estate. The representation I provided resulted in a very successful result as discharges were granted. This former client failed to disclose significant information, causing significantly more legal time and expense to be incurred, and then wondered why costs increased. This client asked for and was given many payment plan opportunities and continued to promise to pay for services as long as he believed he needed my services. Once he no longer needed my services he then broke his promise.
