also known as Elle Burke
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Elle graduated from Visitation Academy and attended St. Louis University for her undergraduate studies and Juris Doctor. During law school, Elle gained extensive litigation experience through positions with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, where she was part of the Child Exploitation division, as well as the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where she was part of the Crimes Against Children team.
Prior to her legal career, Elle spent over a decade advocating for victims of injuries caused by the wrongful actions of others. Elle continues her passion by helping victims of negligence, concentrating her practice on claims for personal injury, 3rd party criminal acts, survivors of sexual assault, sexual misconduct, products liability, wrongful death and workers’ compensation claims.
Beyond her legal career, Elle founded and served as Executive Director of a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supporting and providing a hotline for survivors of sexual violence. Over nearly 5 years as Executive Director, she secured grants and donations to finance the organization, managed hundreds of volunteers, and built partnerships with hospitals, law enforcement, law firms, Title IX offices, and advocacy organizations throughout the St. Louis area. She also volunteered as a Court Advocate with the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office Victim Services Unit, where she completed specialized training and supported victims of violent crimes throughout the legal process.
Elle's transition to civil personal injury law was a natural progression driven by her commitment to advocacy. Her background in criminal law, combined with her years of supporting individuals through the legal system, gives her unique insight into the strategies and challenges in protecting victims’ rights. She brings the same dedication and compassion that defined her work with survivors to fighting for injured individuals and their families, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
