Paul Gantner joined Purcell and Amen - Attorneys at Law in 2009. In 2012 he became a partner and in 2014 the firm changed its name to Amen, Gantner, & Capriano. Mr. Gantner has been able to bring his business and legal education and experience into a firm that has for many years provided comprehensive estate plans that meet clients' needs and expectations. Experience
During law school, Mr. Gantner worked as a corporate law clerk for Shelter Insurance Companies in Columbia, Missouri. Mr. Gantner also taught a personal finance class to undergraduate students at University of Missouri.
Mr. Gantner is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, Missouri Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of St. Louis, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. Paul is also a VA accredited attorney and holds licenses for life, accident and health insurance as well as a Series 65 financial license.
Education
Mr. Gantner obtained his undergraduate B.S.B.A. degree in Management and B.A. degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Louis University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went to law school at University of Missouri, in Columbia, and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2008. Mr. Gantner also obtained his Master of Business Administration from University of Missouri in 2008.
Paul now gives over 100 presentations a year and teaches at least one continuing education class per semester at St. Louis Community College's Adult Education Program. The class will usually cover Paying for Long Term Care or Estate Planning issues and choices to make.
Personal
Mr. Gantner was born and raised in St. Louis. He is a graduate of DeSmet Jesuit High School and currently lives in St. Louis County with his wife, Sally, two daughters, Audrey and Olivia and son, Louis. In school, Mr. Gantner played baseball and rugby. He was active in the Board of Advocates and the Sports Law Society during law school.
These days, Paul enjoys playing in recreational softball and bowling leagues. He is a huge Missouri Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals fan, but also roots on the Saint Louis University Billikens and the St. Louis Blues.
