The law was once considered an honored profession. I believe that it still is, and was blessed to study at one of the nation’s finest law schools, the Washington University School of Law. After working for several of the Midwest's most respected and talented attorneys I founded The S.E. Farris Law Firm. Our focus is on the needs of injury victims and their families.
Spencer has been the lead or supporting trial attorney in cases involving defective baby seats, dangerous drugs, defectively designed automobiles and airplanes, medical mistakes, nursing home neglect, discrimination, motor vehicle crashes involving motorcycles, semi-trucks and passenger vehicles, falls and work related injuries. Currently helping clients with injuries due to exposure to dangerous drugs such as Vioxx, and asbestos related injuries.
When you hire our firm, you meet the attorney who will be with you throughout the legal process. You won't be "passed" around the firm as your case progresses. We approach our cases as a team, and you have the benefit of our teamwork when your case is ready for trial. We understand that your only case is your most important case!
Since we are by design small, we don't advertise tens of thousands of clients "served." In order to give you the personalized attention you deserve, we are selective about the clients we choose to represent. Once we have chosen each other you can depend on honest, prompt answers to your questions, professional expertise, and dedication.

Karen Finley Estate planning Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I first met Spencer when we were on opposite sides of a very difficult case. He represented his client zealously, thoroughly and extremely effectively, so much so that I took note of his techniques and greatly admired his legal abilities. He is an outstanding lawyer, wonderful person and a true advocate for those who have been wronged.
