Negligence refers to an act of carelessness on the part of an individual or corporate entity and may relate to one incident or to a pattern of behavior. It can be a factor in many cases including malpractice cases to the failure of an employer to provide a safe working environment. When the negligence or recklessness of another person or entity cause a person to suffer emotional, physical or financial injury to another party then it may be appropriate to consider pursuing legal action.
