If you are reading online reviews for a family law attorney you are likely seeking a divorce attorney. That is probably not a happy situation for you and finding a "good attorney" is your priority. I found Matt and his team in 2016 and readily hired him after my initial consultation.
Matt breaks any negative stereotypes regarding attorneys. He and his team transcend being "nice" and are KIND. I was immediately comfortable with him and his team and I quickly learned he was the best attorney I could have found. He and his team have an uncanny attention for details and his thorough work discovered information which would have been left uncovered had he not done his job so well.
Matt is very mindful of the cost associated with a divorce and is prudent with his time using paralegals when he can. This is an important detail to consider when seeking an attorney.
Divorce is a highly emotional time, most of the emotions being negative and uncomfortable. I work as a psychotherapist and was ill prepared for the emotional roller coaster I rode during the proceedings. Matt and his team served as a source of comfort and safety and they intuitively seemed to know how to navigate the world of emotional upheaval associated with divorce. The team is compassionate and empathetic and provided me with a much needed sense of stability during the 12 months of my divorce.
My divorce has been final for six months and Matt found a loose end which needed to be tended to as to not have a deleterious effect on my financial future. Had he not carefully reviewed my file I would not have tended to this important detail.
If you would like to speak with me regarding my experience, you may contact the team and they will know how to reach me.

I was fortunate enough to meet Matthew through friends in between my divorce and recent change efforts to my childrens' parenting plan. Those changes required some complicated movement through the court system. Persistence, patience, and good communication were all crucial in this process Knowing him already before we got started, I was confident we had a good chance at getting the majority of what I wanted for my children. We actually got all of it. As a father I will always be grateful. My only regret is that I did not know Matt when I was going through my divorce. If you are reading this I hope you find your way to the best place for your family as well. Please know that Matt is someone who will do everything he can to help you with that.

I met Matt through personal channels and always found him to be gracious and professional in his conduct, so when I needed help with a divorce I immediately reached out to ask for his help. Throughout the process I was impressed with his clear, objective, thoughtful, and empathetic advice. I felt very taken care of by his office throughout a difficult process. It helped to make an inevitably stressful time feel much more even-keeled knowing that I had someone that I trusted taking care of all of the legal elements of the separation. I would highly recommend Matt and Voorhees family law to anyone looking for a lawyer with high integrity who will get the job done in a professional, calm, and straight-forward manner.
