Our firm represented a young woman who was sexually assaulted by a male friend while studying in his basement. The young man's parents were in the home at the time of the assault. The local prosecutor refused to prosecute a criminal case against the young man. Nevertheless, after a five day trial in the civil matter, a St. Charles County jury returned a verdict in favor of our client and against the young man and his parents for $115,000.
