Learn Daniel’s areas of practice.

Practice areas
  1. Appeals
I concentrate in handling civil appeals for trial lawyers and individual clients. I also assist trial lawyers with research projects and trial briefs.

  2. Business
I help small business clients with business formation and ongoing transactional issues.

  3. Estate planning
I assist individuals with the preparation of estate plans. This work include the preparation of trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney and related documents.

I operate a solo law practice in St. Louis (Chesterfield), Missouri.  I concentrate my practice in appeals, estate planning and general business law.  I also assist trial lawyers on a contract basis with legal research and trial briefs.  I teach appellate advocacy as an adjunct faculty member for the moot court program at Saint Louis University School of Law.  And I teach business law as part of the adjunct faculty at Maryville University.  The most unique aspect of my practice is my commitment to preparing persuasive written briefs and oral arguments.  Visit the Reported Cases section of my Company website () for a list of my successful appellate decisions.  View my sample briefs and articles on JD Supra.

Dan was a great resource in a very complex case I handled. With the help of his meticulous research skills and insightful knowledge of case law I was able to obtain a favorable result for my client.

Highly recommended
I have worked with Dan in the context of representing mutual clients. He is very knowledgeable and efficient in the handling of appeals. I strongly recommend him in this role.

Extremely capable and trustworthy
I have used Dan for every aspect of my business from my incorporation to lease negotiation, unemployment law, and employment contracts. I find myself using him as house council for any legal matter that may present itself, large or small. I have referred his services to colleagues and without exception all have been delighted with his abilities and professionalism. The best part is he is extremely fair in his billing practices. To have him as a resource for this array of legal advice and not having to worry about some rediculous bill is refreshing and not my experience in the past with others. I will continue to endorse him every chance I get.
