Joel Beckwith, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised by his parents in Southern Illinois. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2009, where he studied philosophy and political science. During his senior year he was awarded Outstanding Senior Assignment in Philosophy from SIUE. He later attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he obtained his law degree. As a student in his third year of law school his legal commentary was selected and published in the Journal of Legal Medicine. He has since practiced in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, class actions and traffic law. An avid Cardinals fan, in his spare time he frequents downtown St. Louis. Mr. Beckwith is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Missouri, and is a current associate attorney at Freeark, Dennis, Murphy & Moskop, P.C. in Belleville, Illinois.

Excellent Service

Joel Beckwith is amazing to work with and did a fantastic job handling my traffic ticket. Throughout the whole process he was helpful, professional and reassuring. He was able to reduce my speeding ticket to a non-moving violation in a timely manner! I would recommend Mr. Beckwith to anyone who is looking for a reliable lawyer!

Dramshop Personal Injury Claim

Joel Beckwith helped me with personal injury claim that other attorneys said would be fruitless. I was assaulted in a bar and had injuries that resulted in over eight thousand dollars in medical bills. Joel does outstanding work and managed to get a settlement of over $16000. I highly recommend him and will contact him in the future for any other legal services.

Speeding Ticket

Joel did a fantastic job with my ticket. I am 19 and I was driving On 270 on a Saturday and got pulled over for doing 91 in a 60 in Maryland Heights, MO. I ended up only having to pay a small fine and I got probation, 16 hours of community service and a day of driving school. No points on my insurance. He did a great job!

Great Work - Hihgly Satisfied

In my situation I was charged with a Class C Felony and two misdemeanors. We were able to get the felony and one misdemeanor dismissed while pleading guilty to one misdemeanor. In a scenario like the one I was in, it was quite honestly more than, and the best that I could hope for. Highly recommend this member of the Mattea Law Firm team.

Quick and Easy

The process was very smooth and straightforward from start to finish and I didn't have to worry about anything. Response time was also very quick. This was the first time I tried working with a Lawyer on a speeding ticket, and while it is frustrating to still pay a lot for the ticket itself, that's pretty much the name of the game when you get pulled over. I'm just grateful it's amended and won't impact my insurance anymore. Would work with and recommend him again.

AMAZING SERVICE

I received a speeding ticket that he was able to knock down to a parking ticket with very little hassle. There was one phone call that lasted about 10 minutes whereby we exchanged relevant information, and he took it from there! I could not have asked for a better experience.

Fast and efficient

Got a speeding ticket. Contacted Joel. Paid a small fee and he got my ticket off my record as he told me he would. Though I am now watching my speed more, if I happen to be ticketed again. I know who I will call, and so should you. Joel Beckwith.

Extremely pleased!

REVIEW

Hired Joel after getting speeding ticket in Jefferson Co, MO. They told me in MO I had to hire ATTY to get court supervision. I called Traffic Law Center and a couple others and they were outrageous on pricing. I found Joel's number and he only charged $38 and had resolved In a couple weeks. Very happy with service received.

Handled my case like a pro!

Joel did an excellent job on getting my ticket reduced to a non moving violation. He took the case a week before the court date and took care of everything in a quick and professional manner! Highly recommended, I have teenage drivers that will probably keep him busy.

Great Prices, Nice Guy

I called 7 attorneys including Joel to have my speeding ticket fixed. Joel was not only the most pleasant to speak with, but his prices were the best by a longshot. He even offered to drive 5 hours round-trip to appear at court for $100. I did not get to work with Joel, as it turns out the judge placed a recommendation to change the charge from speeding to non-moving all on his own. If I need similar services in the future, however, Joel will be the first guy I call.

Speeding ticket

Great lawyer. Great price. Every other lawyer i contacted raised thier price when i told them the ticket was in ST Ann. This city gets rich from thier speed trap on I-70 in front of the airport. So i could see how they could be more of a pain in the ass to work with. Joel got my ticket changed to improper parking. Not to mention his rate was extremely reasonable. Out of 4 lawyes i contacted he was close to half on the low side and a 1/4 of the highest. Will defentaly be using again should the need come!

Great Service

Thanks for all your help in getting my ticket resolved. I felt like I had nothing to worry about after talking to Joel. I am from out of town, living in Florida, so feeling comfortable with a lawyer to make sure that things are taken care of is important. Even after my court date Joel still answered my questions,was very professional and understanding. We are in and out of st louis a lot and will be calling if we need a traffic lawyer. Thanks Joel

Great Service and Value

I was referred to Traffic Law Solutions by a friend to help with my underage daughters speeding ticket and "invalid" drivers license (driving past curfew). Joel was very proactive and encouraged us to get documents prepared before the court date. He also outlined the process in detail and made us feel at ease. Since my daughter is a minor, she did have to appear in court. Joel was there early to help us through the process and was able to negotiate what we felt was the best possible outcome for our situation. I will be referring Traffic Law Solutions to anyone I know that needs help with a driving violation and, if their services are needed, I would definitely use again in the future.

Super Easy and affordable

Joel made it super easy and affordable for me to get my ticket fixed. I didn't have to anything, but wait for the info to come in by mail. He kept me informed the whole way and was super nice. If you need your ticket fixed you should go to Joel!
