They did a good job and I am very happy with the representation.

I had a disorderly conduct charge and went to Sexner and associates for a consultation. Mitchell gave me a good amount of time on my initial and charge free consultation. After going through the initial conversation I decided to have Sexner and Associates represent me on my case. My attorney was ...Ari and as a personality I though he was great! I never felt uncomfortable in a meeting with him. I think most of their clients have very serious charges like DUIs and Ari came in ready for a heavy hitter, even though my case was relatively trivial. During the trial Ari played everything so cool. At first I thought he was being passive, and by not saying much he wasn't doing much, but it was all part of his plan. He let the state and the officer humiliate themselves. Granted the state had no case, but I will be lying if I said that their humiliation didn't make me smile a bit. Ari literally asked the officer - Did my client do what the charge says he did?, and the cop had no choice to say "No" A not guilty verdict followed immediately. Something also worth mentioning is that while I was waiting in court Ari had another case for a DUI charge and a petty offence of failing to slow down to avoid accident. I watched that trial and the DUI charge was dismissed. I would highly recommend Mitchell and Ari for any criminal defense legal services. Side note, my total cost for some paperwork retrieval and 2 court appearances was about $2500. For Cook county, where I live I think that is quite reasonable for a good criminal defense lawyer. Here is a Summary of my case for context: Cook country sheriff came to my house because I have a dog and a Nicor Gas utility worker felt threatened by the dog even though the dog was locked in the bedroom. Once police arrived they requested to come in my house and observe the worker while he did his job. I allowed them access. One of the officers stood by the door and observed. The other started walking around from the living room to the kitchen. I asked the officer to either stand by the door or take off his shoes if he wants to walk around. He refused either. I then asked him to leave multiple times, again he refused. I asked for directions on contacting his captain and was instructed to call 911. I called and made my request, dispatch told me they would send someone and to call back again if anything changes. I heard the officer receiving a confirmation for the supervisor request on his radio and he denied it. I called dispatch again and insisted that I would like to speak with his superior officer. Once more told me they will have someone come to my house. After my 2nd call the officer told me that no superior would be coming and if I ask for one again he will arrest me. I notified dispatch of the threat I had received and was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (I don't remember the exact wording but basically disturbing the peace class B misdemeanor). I had all the calls and interaction recorded and on the day of the trial the state could not make any case for that charge and wanted to amend it to using 911 to make a false report, class A misdemeanor . That was just as, if not more ridiculous than the original charge. The state tried to extort 20 hours of community service from me because of that unlawful arrest and the judge was somewhat skeptical at the begging considering the change can have up to 1 year in jail and $2500 in fees. But I knew I had done nothing wrong and had confidence in Ari and it all worked out like it should.

Criminal Lawyer

I can't even begin to explain what an amazing law firm this is. My family and I have been using their services for over 10 years now. They have successfully helped us with bankruptcies and criminal cases. We currently have a criminal case going on and the support and help Ari has provided is unbeliev...able. He is smart, kind and supportive. It's the only attorneys office I know that isn't money hungry! Thank you Mitch and Ari!

Wonderful Law Firm

Sexner and Associates was the second office that I consulted regarding my case and within the first 10 minutes I knew that this was the firm for me. Both Mitchell and Owen spoke to me in common language and were very thorough in explaining any legal jargon that I did not understand. They made sure I ...understood what all my options were as well as the consequences of each option. Owen went to court with me and by following his advice I was able to get the best possible deal that only required community service; no jail time, no probation or supervision and no court fees. Though everyone's case is different I was very lucky to get the deal offered given my situation and I have Sexner and Associates to thank for that. I obviously hope to never need them in the future but in the event that I do find myself on the wrong side of the law again Sexner and Associates will be my first call. They do free consultations and have reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend contacting them for a consultation and see what they can do for you :)

Worked Miracles!!!!

Mitchell S. Sexner & Associates recently represented me for a Class A Misdemeanor which going into didn't have favorable odds. I was looking at a misdemeanor conviction, a possible 1 year jail sentence and a $2,500.00 fine. My lawyer was able to work with the prosecuting attorney to lessen my offen...se and then went on to work with the judge to ultimately grant me supervision on the lesser offense. I received 6 months of supervision and a $400 fine with driving school. This was the most amazing outcome I could have ever asked for!!! I would recommend Mitchell S. Sexner & Associates to anyone in need of legal representation.
