Jeffery Leving is qualified and honest!

I normally don't post on these sites but see many of Leving's competitors have decided to use this site to lampoon him so I felt I had to speak up as a former client. I had a lawyer prior to Leving who promised me the moon and could not deliver in court. The lawyer charged me thousands of dollars... and was great in meetings but a complete wuss in court. I finally had enough and called Jeffery Leving. His associate gave me an honest and thourough consultation. I finally knew where I stood and had a strategy to get custody of my daughters. After a few months of preparation and two court dates I had temporary custody. He brought to light the fact that my ex-wife was unfit (which she was with many different men, moving around, and abusing alcohol). He did this through investigation and some really great strategy. My ex-wife was forced to take alcohol classes and urine drops. I now have full custody of my daughters and am looking forward to spending the first Fathers Day with them in years. Thank you Jeffery Leving!!!!!

Jeffery Leving helped me win in court.

Jeffery Leving fought for me last year and won me custody of my children. His lawyers were all very professional and know their stuff. Even the judge made a comment he was impressed with my lawyer's argument. They know there way around the system and are able to overcome the bias that fathers face. I... would definately recommend this firm to anyone in a divorce or custody dispute.

Leave your wallet at home...... ALL lawyers will fight for parental rights...

Mr. Leving and his firm live off the title of "Fathers Rights Attorney" Its a gimmick as all good divorce attorneys will fight for your rights. I see him use this to bring in people who could never afford his services. The two lawyers I worked with were excellent, but were bridled by the rules of... Mr. Leving and the firm when it came to billing. READ the agreement before you sign, and dont feel afraid to request changes to it. You should never be charged to read / open a simple email or a 5 minute phone call. They bill in increments of the hour, again read your contract. There isnt a month that went by when I didnt have to dispute something on the bill, which was removed by request. I had to fire the firm and hire a single attorney to get this case over with and not go bankrupt. All large firms will look at your net worth when you walk in the door. They will not settle the case until they have depleted xx percentage of it. Its a unspoken truth of the large firms. Read your contract, dont be afraid to dispute items and manage your own case. You are paying them to work for you. If you dont like something, tell them. If you cant work it out, fire them. And lastly, EVERY good attorney will fight for your parental rights. He just uses the tag line for advertising and praying on the pain of fathers in custody battles. I can not figure why ANY professional is worth $550-759 and up a hour. Its not like they can do anything faster to save you money and heartache..... They are a well known firm, as are many others.... The judges and other lawyers dont care that he interviewed President Obama.... But you will sit and listen to it on hold over and over again.... He needs to get over himself... I would hire the actual lawyers that did the work individually if I could as they were the best!

LOT OF MONEY LOST

I should have realized that it was a bad idea when I paid $125 to meet with them but after meeting with one of their top lawyers I felt better. I had a very simple case but did not want to go at it alone since my wife had a lawyer. Since the case was so simple I was charged a $4,000 retainer and told... that there was no way that we would come close to that. One week in and I was moved to a lower level lawyer in the firm. I had a problem with that because that's not who I paid to represent me but was told it would be ok because it was such a simple case. I went along with it. Two months in and nothing seemed to happen with my case. My wifes lawyer complained about not getting her calls returned and I realized it was happening to me as well. At the end of July I had a conversation with my lawyer over my concerns about finishing the case within the 4k retainer. He told me we were not even close to touching it. One week later I received a bill for 7k. He had gone through my retainer and charged me 7k on top of it. 11k for nothing. After weeks of complaining I finally fired them. They then tried to delay withdrawing with the hope of charging me more money. When they wrote up the motion to withdraw they stated that I breached the contract. When I told them to correct that they charged me office time to fix it. These people are a joke. I do not make a lot of money and ended up finishing the divorce by myself with the help of my wifes lawyer. The whole "fathers rights" message is a joke. I cant even listen to their radio ads without feeling sick. My only hope is that future clients will read this and other comments before considering them.

Dont be scamed by the "fathers rights" gimic.

After hiring this firm this past year to simply take my ex wife back for mediation....it costs me over $24,000 for 5 months of work. In the end...I had 2 different lawyers that talked a good game and made promises that just didn't happen. I fired them and hired a new attorney that did more work and g...ot better results in 5 days than Mr Hagler or Mr Reardon did. Please do not get pulled into their marketing tactics.
