From Removal proceedings to Citizenship

Please take the time to read this during especially during these uncertain and frightening times for immigrants. I had the privilege of working with Christopher Helt on a complex immigration case, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I was a lawful permanent resident and stopped at the ...airport. I was placed in removal proceedings and Mr. Helt met with my family and friends and obtained my release on bond despite my first lawyer we hired said it wasn’t possible. It was clear at that point Mr. Helt was knowledgeable but also genuinely dedicated to his clients even when he has yet met him! After my release and during my immigration court proceedings, he artfully assist me, helping me navigating the U.S. immigration court system which can be daunting and terrifying especially with intricate cases like mine. Mr. Helt was incredibly thorough, breaking down every step of the process and ensuring that I understood my options before my court hearings. There were detailed legal briefs filed in support of my case that I think it would take decades for other lawyers to apply the type knowledge and experience in those legal papers he has. Mr. Helt explained them to both the judge and the homeland security attorney in a very nice and understanding way. Mr. Helt’s attention to detail was outstanding. Being in deportation or removal proceedings as a green card holder is a very stressful time. You think that your life here in the United States may be over. But Mr. helt provided me with immense peace of mind before and after my court hearings. He won my removal case and then I filed for US citizenship. My case was still complex but Mr. Helt artfully explained my situation in basic terms to the USCIS officer who granted my naturalization application. I am an American citizen today because of Mr. Helt. What impressed me the most was Mr. Helt’s ability to handle the complexities of my case with such expertise. Christopher Helt’s decisions for me were strategic, he was calm under pressure, and very proactive in making sure everything was ok, even anticipating potential challenges before they came up, as if he could predict them before court or later before my naturalization interview. Thanks to Christopher Helt’s hard work and dedication, my case was successfully resolved and I have begun a new and more secure life as a proud American! If you’re dealing with a complex immigration matter, look no further – Mr. Helt is the lawyer you want by your side. Big Thanks to him and his staff.

The best immigration attorney there is

I had Mr Helt as my lawyer for over 7 years, through a hard battle with the government, during which I was detained, and had numerous immigration court hearings And won an appeal with USCIS And without his unparalleled dedication, knowledge and experience, I wouldn't have succeeded in obtaining my... green card, During this period, Mr Helt has become like a family member, who always had my utmost respect and trust, he was always there for me including on weekends and late nights , and he gave me hope when I had none. Before trial, he prepared me very well for all the questions the government will and may ask, and we discussed strategies and tactics together And during the trial Mr Helt objected several inappropriate questions by the government and was decisive in his closing argument, which led the judge to grant my petition. Mr Helt, is an outstanding lawyer and a genuine person, I will always be grateful for him, and I would highly recommend him to anyone

I called Mr Helt “out of the blue” and he answered personally, he spend a significant amount of time talking to me about my wife’s green card problem, she, like many others has waited over 2 years for her renewal. This is a problem in its self but it is becoming more time critical as we had planned t...o travel outside the country in a few weeks. Mr Helt advised us to set up an appointment with our local office to obtain a special stamp in my wife’s passport that will allow her to travel without her new green card. We were not aware this was an option as it’s not mentioned on the USCIS website, or not where we could find it at least. Mr Helt could've suggested we file law suit to get the USCIS moving and taken our money however he gave us free advice that we hope will solve the problem. Thank you Mr Helt!!
