I was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor charges. One for resisting arrest, and another for underage drinking. As a college student at a prestigious university, I was freaking out that this arrest would ruin my future. Along with this, my parents were also freaking out. Online, it said that these ...offenses were punishable up to a 6 month period in jail. I knew that this wouldn't happen, but regardless it was scary and my family and I was worried. Scott took the time out of a weekday day to meet with my parents and I, explain the case at hand and calm them down. Out of the two separate charges, I did not get convicted of either charge.
