I received a driving ticket when I was 4 1/2 hours away from my home in Chicago. I was told I had to go to court at 9 am and at the courthouse 4 1/2 hours away. I called the courthouse to explain to them that I would have to leave at 4am just to get to court on time and asked if I could just pay the ticket instead. I was transferred to a voicemail and never was called back. I knew I was not getting anywhere with the people at the courthouse so I hired Sarah for advice on what to do. She took down my information, called the courthouse and was able to come up with a solution right away. I am so relieved and glad that I do not have to drive so far to handle this and that Sarah was able to help me!

I was involved in a very high conflict marriage which involved two children under the age of five. My wife was extremely hostile and manipulative but the worst part was knowing my kids were being used in the process. During the initial separation my kids were being physically and emotionally harmed. I realized that the longer this went on, the harder it would be on them. I was fortunate that a friend gave me Sarah’s number and told me to call her for advice. During our initial conversation, Sarah gave me suggestions on how to communicate and interact with my wife in a way that would reduce the conflict as much as possible. At our first appointment she immediately realized the severity of the situation and took the appropriate steps to get my two sons out of a dangerous situation and into my custody. When the case went to a hearing Sarah was very sharp and also made sure that I was prepared for anything thrown my way. There was a lot of “craziness” involved with my case and Sarah knew how to sort out what was important and what was just thrown in to make the situation more complicated. Anyone going through a high conflict divorce will understand how important this is. She definitely dedicated the time needed for my case and I was always able to reach her when I needed advice. I will always be grateful for the work she did for me and my kids. I think Sarah is a great divorce/child custody lawyer and would highly recommend her to anyone going through a high conflict divorce.

My case was tough and Sarah was able to handle every aspect of it with my husband's attorney. She would not back down. In the end, we came to some cost-effective compromises, but I still came out ahead of the game with child support and maintenance. Without Sarah, I would have been bombarded by my husband's attorney with no clue where to turn. I have since recommended her to two friends.
Jessica Marshall, Divorce and separation Attorney
Relationship: Supervised lawyer
Sarah as an excellent attorney who vigorously represents her clients in complicated financial and custody related matters. Her communication is excellent and she is a strong advocate for her client's positions. She is prompt in getting back to clients and a forceful litigator. She is easy to work with and she definitely doesn't back down in Court. I highly recommend Sarah as an attorney.
