The first lawyer I contacted was with a different firm in Naperville (L.L.) and I will only say this man was a Class A jerk/bully and told me I HAD to pay $1500 before they would file anything because once they filed, they had to wait for their money. THANKFULLY, I made an appt. at the Geraci office... in Plainfield/Joliet area and the experience from that point on was the exact opposite of the previous. Adam and Bill worked with me up to my court date and were great! Professional, thoughtful and kind throughout the entire process. Briana was assigned to me for my court date and she immediately noticed how nervous I was and calmly, clearly and with the utmost kindness, explained 100% every step of what the process would be for the day and henceforth. Briana could not have done anything more to make a day I had been having anxiety attacks about for so long, any better, and I am beyond grateful to her. I do have 2 negative-ish comments but must preface them by saying that even with these two hiccups, I have recommended the firm to others and the comments are only meant as a means of providing feedback towards future customer service: 1. I had called the 800 number to ask a question that my Accountant had told me to ask and the man that I talked to was incredibly rude, very dismissive and short with me and after all of that, had not correctly heard or (perhaps) incorrectly transposed my question into my client file, as I found out later during my next appt. with Adam when I asked him about it. 2. The day I was going through my financials, there were other clients in the office and when I asked my lawyer if I could shut the door he explained that Mr. Geraci has an open door policy and that he couldn't shut the door. I had no problem with this when I was finding out details and information of what I needed to gather, etc. but I truly found it downright humiliating when I knew that the people in the next room could hear every detail about my financials and my only hope is that that Mr. Geraci would reconsider this policy for the personal information and financial disclosures appt.s. Hope this was helpful and definitely recommend Geraci Law.

I feel the the experince was some what smooth. Two things that bothered me. My attorney did not listen to what I said and caused more chasing around and undo worry for me. The other is once my case was discharged I have no access online to my payment history or balance. The office manager is a very n...ice woman, no nonsense.

We need a car, we are on a chapter 13 and are 75% done with it. I upload of paystubs, letter if explanation, and budget, the car place is working in a contract to send over. I emailed and asked if the attorneys received everything and get no response. If i need to send other info i would like to kno...w. also, i am upset the what i see on the NDC site i just just out is not what i owe, i owe more. I would like a print out with the totals and a balance that i owe, and i dont seem to be able to get that.
