Our first consult was with attorney Kelly Smith - while she is the Ch. 7 specialists..., she went though all of our options with us and guided us throughout the info gathering process. Attorney Jean Huang handles the firms Ch. 13 filings and is just as good as Ms. Smith. Professional, kind, informative and efficient - those just a few words to describe Ms. Huang. Not to mention the fact that they are well-known and have developed a very solid rapport with the bankruptcy trustee's offices. As glad as we are that our Ch. 13 plan has been discharged and we can start fresh, we are a bit saddened that we will no longer have regular contact with Ms. Huang. After my first meeting with Kelly Smith, I knew I had made the right decision. She took me thr...ough the different types of bankruptcy filings, performed my means test (I was only eligible for Chapter 13) and walked me through the filing process. After filing, the rest of my case from the meeting with the Trustee until my case was discharged was handled by Jean Huang. Making a decision to file bankruptcy was not a decision I took lightly, but ended up being necessary for my situation.
