I had to file chapter 7 due to medical expenses and related unemployment, and it was pretty simple. I went in for a consultation, sent over the necessary documents, and showed up for the meeting of creditors, and that was pretty much it. I can only imagine how much more stressful of a process this wo...uld have been if I had tried to file on my own. The service I recieved from my attorney here was about the best I could've asked for. She helped me look into reaffirming my auto loan, and when I decided reaffirming wouldn't be worth it based on the terms the bank gave, she referred me to a great dealership that has been very helpful as well. I hope I never have to file again, but if I know someone else who needs to file in the future, I will likely be referring them here.
