When I needed some advice for our situation I didn't know who to call. Anyone going through a financial crisis wants to find someone trustworthy, knowledgeable and wants to be treated with respect. So after reading a few reviews online for Mr. Handelman I took a deep breath and picked up the phone ...and made the call to his office. My call was routed to Jean and after giving her a few facts she made an appointment for us to meet with Stuart. Jean was the kindess person and assured me that we would be ok and we were NOT alone! We met with Mr. Handelman close to our home a few days later and it was like talking to a long time friend. He understood our situation and told us not to worry that everything would be fine and that we were in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable and there was no question he couldn't answer. He filed our Chapter 7 case a few weeks later and we just received our dismissal in time for the new year. There were a few questions I had along the way and he responds sometimes within minutes and always the same day! We were always kept informed and the process was not as bad as I had thought. Now I wished I had made the call months earlier but I am so glad I made the call! Everyone at his office is very kind and a pleasure to deal with.
