Jason Carroll joined the Workers’ Compensation practice of Katz Friedman in 2008. Prior to this, he worked at another Chicago law firm where his practice also focused on representing injured workers before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He has taken over 100 cases to arbitration at the Illinois Workers' Compensation and has successfully argued appeals before the Circuit Court as well as the Illinois Appellat Court.
Much of his practice involves representing union workers in the automotive field who are injured on the job. He has the background and knowledge to work with each individual client to reach the best possible resolution of their claims.
Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. That same year, he was admitted to the Illinois State Bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Workers’
Compensation Lawyers Association.
When he is not representing his clients before the Commission, Jason enjoys watching the White Sox and Blackhawks, and also enjoys traveling, working out, and cooking in his spare time.
