Awesome Experience

Michael is one of the most down to earth lawyers that you will ever meet. He has a strong sense of humor and always has his clients best interest in mind. After working with Michael over the past year and a few months, I could tell that he did not just care about the "money" but also about my well-be...ing. To show he cared, he would call or send a simple text every week to see how I was recovering from my accident. Michael built a sense of trust by being honest throughout the entirety of the process. Now that my case is coming to an end, I can truly say that he did everything in his power to make sure that my case got what it worth. I highly recommend hiring Michael!

Great Accident Lawyer !!!!!

When my wife was hit by a car while walking across the street she suffered several injuries, we were distraught abut knew we needed legal help. I found attorney Michael Shammas. From the beginning, we felt he was concerned about our welfare, invested in our case and wanted to get us a JUST resolution... for us. We felt like a load was lifted off our shoulders. Mike answered all our calls and reassured us that he will make sure everything would be alright. He gave us counsel and helped locate doctors, clinics, and therapists for my wife. He took care of all the paperwork. My wife was off work for several months and the bills were piling up but mike explained the whole process in detail and he went above and beyond for us. He was straightforward about what our possibilities and resolutions were without making false promises, which was refreshing. We feel beyond happy and fortunate that we had an attorney who through his thoughtful and dedicated approach, helped us reach a VERY just resolution. I would sincerely recommend Mike to everyone seeking a detail oriented, knowledgeable, and experienced attorney to represent them in their personal injury case.

One of the best in the business

I was hit hard from behind in an auto accident only one week prior to my 25th birthday, but my resulting back pain made me feel like I was twice that age. The resulting treatment resulted in some heavy expenses. Luckily for me, I had the pleasure of working with one of the best attorneys in the Chica...goland area. Michael was extremely helpful from the very beginning. The entire time we worked together, my health and well being was his number one concern, and I was always kept in the loop about any proceedings. I would recommend Mr. Shammas to anyone looking for a personal injury attorney.

Break a Leg

I was initially quite hesitant about pursuing any type of lawsuit regarding a broken leg I sustained as the result of a workplace accident. After getting on the phone with Michael and discussing the details of my case however, I decided to give it a go. He assured me that I had a viable case and that... he could aid in making sure that I was properly compensated for my pain and suffering. I had been attempting to reach some outlets on the construction site I was working on , and in doing so a couple of stacks of drywall that had been negligently stacked in front of said outlets came crashing down on me. I ended up breaking my right leg and straining my back. I ended up pursuing a workers compensation claim as well as a civil lawsuit. Michael kept me up to date every step of the way and was always open to answering any questions or concerns I had throughout the litigation process. I was especially nervous before my deposition. Michael met with me ahead of time and broke down exactly what I could expect, so that when it came time for my deposition to take place, I was cool as a cucumber. When you're involved in something as serious as a legal matter, you need someone you can trust and count on to be there for you. Michael is that type of attorney. He gives 100% to his clients and that's really all you can ask for.

Great Referral

A couple of years ago I fell at a grocery store. I'd never been through the litigation process before and was nervous about finding an attorney I could trust. A friend referred me to Michael Shammas and I am so happy to report that a couple of months ago my case settled in my favor, which brought me ...to write this review. Being that I had never been through something like this before I had lots of questions and concerns, all of which Michael listened to with a patient ear and addressed with that same patience. He was very understanding of my apprehension and assured me he would be with me every step of the way. He not only followed through on that promise, but he always showed a meticulous and well-organized nature, something I greatly appreciate being someone who also operates this way in my daily life. I believe all of these qualities lead to the successful conclusion of my case. Many attorneys make promises that they cannot or do not intend to fulfill, but Mr. Shammas is not one of them. I hope I never have to go through a process like this one again, but should said circumstances arise I will definitely return to Michael.
